Located in Rome (Colosseum - Roman Forum), Domus Diana is close to National Museum of Oriental Art, Colosseum, and Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. Also nearby are Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano and Teatro dell'Opera di Roma.

In addition to tour/ticket assistance and an elevator (lift), Domus Diana features air conditioning in public areas. For a surcharge, guests receive transportation including a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours), a cruise ship terminal shuttle, and a ferry terminal shuttle. A total renovation of this property was completed in July 2011.

Our stay was wonderful. The only "negative" is that the air conditioning could have been more effective. Diana and her staff were the greatest. Such a BEAUTIFUL place to stay. I loved the neighborhood and the rooms were BEAUTIFUL and incredibly clean. Comfy bed. :-) Diana was a GEM. We adored her as well as the maid on staff. "Very nice"
When we arrived, it was difficult to figure out where to go because it is basically an apartment building, however, Marco, the building porter called Diana, the hotel-apartment owner-manager, who let us in. We did not know what to expect until we went into the place. It is basically one big apartment that has been turned into a hotel by separating the […] rooms and installing full bathrooms for every room. The rooms themselves are large, comfortable, clean, airy, with modern furnishings. The bathrooms have new modern fixtures and are equally clean. The huge plus was the A/C in the room. It was 90 degrees plus outside everyday we were in Rome, and having A/C in the room was wonderful. Food in the shared kitchen area available to all guests no extra charge including bread, pastries, yogurt and coffee for breakfast. Rooms were cleaned and towels replaced daily. Diana was very helpful in pointing us to the city's attractions, transportation, and dining options. Rome's red metro line has a station 3 blocks away and it stops at most tourist areas. It is not a "hotel" hotel, don't expect someone at the front desk at all times. It is more like staying at a friend's place who gave you the keys to their cool apartment. There is a cell phone available at the common area that you can use to call Diana when she's not around and she will gladly help you with anything you need (get you a taxi to the airport for example). We stayed 3 nights in Rome .Diana was very helpful and professional . Domus Diana is very centrally located could really walk (about an hour) to most of the places of interest. Lovely little hotel. Very convenient to the Colleseum and most other areas. We never got to meet Diana but the other workers were very helpful. Hello everyone, I can really reccomend Domus Diana. The hotel is situated close to Collosseum and you can easily walk to the main attractions (as we walked all over the town :). The room and the service was perfect! Diana is very kind. The beds were good, the room was 100% clean and was cleaned every morning, the bathroom was new and clean and we got […] new towels every day! The breakfast was included with coffe, croissant or cereal but we choose to go to a coffe shop in the morning sitting in the sun!! Til prisen, meget centralt beliggende. Gåafstand til Vatikanet ca 3 km. og Colosseum inden for 500 meter. Servicen var yderst venlig og imødekommende. Værelserne var hysterisk rene - hver dag. Efter 8 dage var der ikke et støvfnug! Diana var desuden meget hjælpsom med tips til lokalområdet, og da vi checkede ud om morgenen den sidste dag, kunne vi sætte […] vores kufferter på familiens andet hotel, 2 minutters gang fra Termini indtil vi skulle flyve om aftenen. Stedet består af 5 værelser og et fælles thekøkken hvor man kan have lidt juice og pålæg stående i køleskab. Lige uden for døren ligger restaurant Morgana, og rundt om hjørnet Da Nino. Begge skal prøves. Rigtig god mad til rimelige penge. Skal vi til Rom igen ved vi hvor vi skal bo. Fungerer dog bedst uden børn da der ikke er udearealer (eller swimming pool). "Hyggeligt lille Hotel"
Et lidt anderledes sted med små hyggelige nyindrettede værelser. IKEA men godt og stemningsfuldt sat sammen i farvetemaer. Vi fik lov at vælge mellem de ledige værelser og pigerne valgte det "røde" værelse. Sengene er hårde. Diana er meget sød og hjælpsom og der er et køkken som alle kan bruge med lidt mælk og brød i skabene. Området ligger ved Coloseum […] men er ellers ikke så spændende. Nemt med metro til centrum. "Hôtel Diana in Rome"
The positive thing of this hotel is that it's clean, only 10 min's walk from the colisée, and the host is quite nice. BUT the price is way to expensive for such a small ''hotel'' (it's not a real hotel). no tv, no bath tube, no breakfast, no wifi (that's really inconvenient when u travel...) and the hotel doesn't accept the card, u have to pay in cash […] which is not practical... I stayed at Domus Diana for 5 nights in September. The hotel is newly decorated, very clean and fresh. The owner is very friendly and helpful and helped with guidance and taxk-bookings etc. The hotel is very close to Colusseum and within walking distance to most other things. The breakfast is the only thing that was a bit disappointing but there are […] many nice cafés outside the door and a supermarket where you can buy your own and keep in the hotel fridge.
