"Excellent hotel"
This was a great hotel. Clean, quiet and elegant. I think we actually stayed in the room that was photographed for their website. This hotel was the closest to an American style hotel. The owners put a great deal of effort in styling the hotel. The room was nice. The bathroom was also decent. I was surprised to see a shower curtain rather than a shower door but that was minor. The breakfast was also good. The only negatives were that the terrace on the room top was not weel maintained. Our room looked exactly like it did on the website... it was boutique, it was VERY clean, well furnished and was comfortable. BUT the walls were extremely damaged (VERY DAMAGED -- I have never seen that before). so thats was a little weird. The owners are very nice, they have a nice terrace. The hotel is in a residential neighbourhood so a little out […] of the center... but it means its quiet and we really did not mind the walk. The neighbourhood is quite fun, lots of services, restaurants and shops nearby and great for vatican sightseeing.. took us about 15 minutes to get to the center. We really did not mind. Rome is quite noisy so it was nice to have quiet time. The only other drawback aside from the damaged walls was the evening reception gentleman (older man of asian decent) -- he was not courteous nor helpful. Everyone else was great and attentive to us. "Hotel Beldes - A Great Choice!"
We stayed at the Hotel Beldes for a 3 night break in September. We booked a double room - on our arrival we were upgraded to a Delux Double Room at no extra chage. The room wasn't situated within the hotel itself but one block down the road (about a 2 minute walk away in a residential area). The room was really lovely, clean with tea & coffee facilities […] (no milk though). The bathroom was compact with a great shower. The room/bathroom was decorated very tastefully. We also had a lcd tv and safe to use free of charge. We walked back to the hotel each morning for breakfast which was good with plenty of choice, cereal, pastries, fruit, yogurt, bread, cheese and meats. The hotel is in a good location close to the Vatican City which is a 10 minute walk away and the Colosseum about 30-40 minutes away at a leisurely pace. If you plan to visit the Colosseum go to the Forum first and buy your tickets there and once you have seen the Forum you can then walk straight into the Colosseum with your ticket and avoid the long queues. The hotel staff were good when we asked them to recommend a good restaurant for an evening meal. The 3 Quarti Restaurant is well worth a visit which is one block away for good food at a reasonable price. We used the private shuttle service provided by the hotel from/to the airport. Das war unser zweite Aufenthalt in Beldes HR. Genauso wie beim ersten Mal waren wir auch diesmal insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Godt hotel med fin beliggenhed. Vi havde via hotels.com booket et værelse med to enkeltsenge. Da vi ankom kl. otte om aftenen (ankomsttidspunktet var meddelt hotellet på forhånd), fik vi et værelse med en dobbeltseng. "Hôtel Beldes H.R. Rome: très sympa et déco parfait"
Un hôtel très bien pour plusieurs raisons: bien situé: à 15 min à pied du vatican, 2 min du métro et 5 min d'un avenue très commerçante les chambres: une déco moderne et chaleureuse, soignée, et vraiment appréciée car je pense que la majorité des hotels à Rome sont plutôt "old fashioned". Très propre, ménage et changement de serviettes tous les jours. Un […] accueil vraiment sympathique, anglais courant, toujours prêt à aider et renseigner. Un point négatif: le bruit. Les murs des chambres sont TRES fin. Nous pouvions entendre tout ce que faisaient nos voisins: télé (l'écran plat est attaché au mur don cela raisonne dans la chambre voisine..), voix, douche... "Beldes i Roma - sentralt, rent og ordentlig"
Vi bodde på såkalt anex som lå et par kvartaler sør for hotellet. Anexet var en etasje i en bygård som var pusset opp. Rommet var passelig stort med de fasiliteter som var nødvendige. Sengen noe hard etter min smak, men blant de bedre hotellsengene jeg har prøvd. Badet var fint og relativt stort. Ikke noevoldsomt luksus, men pent og rent. De to unge mænd der ejer hotellet og som kalder sig Hotelieres og de har virkelig gjort det godt. Hotellet er maskulint med mange detaljer. Beliggenheden er perfekt i forholde til alle de ting man skal se. Man skal dog ud at gå for at finde et ordentligt sted at spise. "Hotel near the vatican."
The hotel looks really nice on pictures and the design of the room is very cool. However the rooms are quite small and the breakfast is below average even for italy. We weren't that happy about the staff when they accused us of breaking a lamp in the room which was obviously already boken. "Hotel Beldes H.R."
Hele bestillings-, betalings- og indtjekningsprocessen forløb uden problemer. Hotellets reception har døgnåbent, og der er derfor ingen problemer med en sen indtjekning. Dette er dejligt, da man ikke skal stresse rundt, for at nå til hotellet inden et bestemt tidspunkt. Hotellets personale var hjælpsomt og venligt. De kan hjælpe med at bestille taxaer […] og lignende, hvis dette er nødvendigt. Desuden rengøres værelserne hver dag, der bliver lagt nye håndklæder osv. Værelserne er super fine og helt som på billederne. De er ikke store, men man føler sig heller ikke som en sild i en tønde. Der er aircondition (nødvendighed om sommeren!) og et godt badeværelse. Alt i alt lige hvad man har brug for, når man er på storbyferie. Morgenmaden er ligeledes udmærket - man bliver mæt og den serveres i hyggelige omgivelser. Hotellets beliggenhed er ganske udmærket. Det ligger ikke i Roms centrum, men man kan sagtens gå til alle de vigtige seværdigheder. Vi brugte ikke offentlig transport på noget tidspunkt, selvom vi var godt omkring i hele Rom. Hotellet ligger tæt på Vatikanstaten og Castel Sant Angelo. Desuden er det et fint område, med nogle okay restauranter. Vi ville til hver en tid anbefale Beldes H.R. til andre. "Miellyttävä hotelli kaikin puolin!"
Hotelli oli intiimin pieni ja kodikas ja henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Ilmapiiri oli tunnelmallinen ja rauhallinen. Huone oli siisti ja kauniisti sisustettu. Helteellä seinästä itse säädettävä ilmastointi oli ykkösjuttu. Aamiainen oli ihan riittävän monipuolinen suomalaiselle. Toivoimme savutonta huonetta ja sen myös saimme. Ilmainen tallelokero huoneessa […] oli myös kätevä. Suihkujen äänieristykset olivat kuitenkin onnettomat. "Agréable hôtel"
Bon point de départ pour la visite de Rome. Station métro toute proche. Hôtel propre, chambres pas trop grandes mais très jolies et parfaitement entretenues chaque jour. Petit déjeuner sympa et personnel poli et accueillant. Nous avons séjourné dans l'annexe qui se trouve à une centaine de mètres du bâtiment principal. Ceci n'a pas été particulièrement […] gênant. Nous y retournerions sans problème. Pratique, la Piazza Cavour toute proche est un arrêt pour la navette bus aéroport Fiumicino- Rome (AR), moyen le moins cher (8 €/personne) pour rejoindre Rome.
