It was exactly as we had expected. A good (but not great) hotel in the heart of the city. It's about 10 steps from the Trevi fountain. The Patheon is... really close as well and most of the other attractions were less than 30 mins away by walk. The room was very clean but carpet outside the room was old. The breakfast room was small and didn't have that many options. Wifi was decent, no complaints. Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 20, 2012

We would have given this hotel a "terrible" rating, however the staff was pleasant at all times and this was the only saving grace of our week-long stay. Whoever deemed this hotel a 4-Star accommodation needs to know this: We arrived at 1pm and our room was not ready. Were told to return in an hour, which we did, and still our room was not ready. The […] wifi went off every day after a few hours, and we had to call to have it reset constantly. The bedspread was stained, and the sheets were not changed once during our week-long stay. Also, we were instructed on the website that our dwelling would be 200 square feet. It was not. It was at most 170 square feet. Finally, it was the little things that we found irksome, such as a missing handle off the desk, the leaky plumbing in our bathroom, and the obviously missing picture frame on one wall where only a hook remained. Again, the staff was lovely and the location cannot be beat if looking for a centrally located base for walking trips throughout the city. We would not recommend this particular hotel, however. After staying in a few not so great hotels on a guided tour, I was THRILLED when I walked into Boutique Hotel Trevi. The lobby was bright and clean, and the front desk staff was very friendly. My room was decorated beautifully and the bathroom was spotless. The bathroom had a variety of complimentary toiletries, as well as a pair of slippers. The Boutique Hotel Trevi is well located if you want to walk to all the sites in the old part of Rome. The rooms are attractive and are very quiet. It is located on a walking street, so very little traffic noise. The hotel staff were very helpful with planning local tours and general information about Rome. The breakfast room is well stocked with all […] types of food for a very hearty breakfast and it is included in the price of the room. The hotel staff arranged for a private car to take us to the airport on our last day and walked us and luggage to the car which cannot stop at the front door, but is just around the corner. The same is true if you order a taxi, the staff will escort you to the taxi around the corner which is very helpful. We always felt that the staff were very attentive to any questions we had and we would definitely stay here again if we returned to Rome. Read more

Für genügend Ablage ist leider auch nicht gesorgt... leider. Der Frühstücksraum gemütlich, aber viel zu klein für die Anzahl Zimmer. Zu Stosszeiten warteten die Gäste bis zum Lift, […] was für die Gäste die gerade frühstückten nicht sehr angenehm war. Riktigt prisvärt hotell mitt i stan. Du går till alla sevärdheter. Enda nackdelen var en väldigt liten frukostmatsal där vi fick äta i omgångar pga för få sittplatser men frukosten var mycket bra. Bra service och trevlig personal. Jag kan verkligen rekommendera hotellet.
