We were Aussie travellers just staying for one night, we received the warmest of greetings on arrival and a much needed cold drink after a long journey. "Inn at the Forum - our worst nightmare"
Went to The Inn at the Forum for our honeymoon, stayed 3 nights and couldn't wait to go home. Had no sleep the first night because the bed was broken (3 broken slats and mattress springs broken on one side). Broken toilet seat. Broken tap. Peeling and mouldy wallpaper. Jacuzzi not working. Bath plug not working. Towel rail broken. Mini bar handle missing. […] Complained the next morning but nothing had been done by 5.00pm. Changed rooms but even worse. The air conditioning in the new room was not working and blew out hot air instead of cold. It was 39°c during our stay. Between midnight and 4.00am the temperature was unbearable and we took it in turn to take cold showers to cool down. The receptionist said it was because the room had not been used for 2 weeks.
