"Close to the gym."
I thibk it was a nice hotel. Good location to gym and only about 15-20 minutes outside downtown with collective transportation. The things that could have been better was the breakfast. Hotel was a bit out of the way. Have to take a 20 min. bus ride to reach city center. Only way to buy a bus ticket is to find a tobacco store on the main street...can't get one at the hotel and can't get one on the bus...silly system. Services at the hotels were bad. "Hotel Fleming - quiet safe neighbourhood"
Quiet location in a safe neighbourhood. Rome is extremely built up so you are unlikely to get anything with a real spacious feel anywhere in the city or even the outskirts. You will need to get a taxi into town which was around 15 Euros. Twin room was clean and had a secure coded safety deposit box. With signs and warnings even before you go to Rome […] about general theft and crime rates this hotel felt extremely safe. Clean bathroom although not the most spacious. More than did the job for a City break on a smaller budget. The reception staff left a little to be desired. Stapling bits of paper on one occasion was more important than seeing to a line of 3-4 guests. On another occasion we asked to book a taxi and were shown where the nearby taxi rank was. We had already been standing at that rank waiting for a cab for 15 minutes hence asking them to book one - this was met with a look and sigh that it was far too much effort!! Got back to the hotel at midnight and the bar was closed so no late night tipple available. Not much sights wise around the hotel although there is one park you could see en route to the City with lots of interesting sculptures and some peace and quiet. About 2 miles away from the Olympic Stadium. Generally a pleasant stay and would use the hotel again as a base to see the City - but with friends so as to split the cost of the cabs into town. Il gran hotel Fleming è complesso confortevole,anche se la classificazione corrisponderebbe più ad un 3 stelle. Ottima è stata l’accoglienza ed il personale cortese e gentile. !!!! La colazione soddisfacente. In generale siamo soddisfatti ma la camera era piccola e la pulizia del pavimento lasciava molto a desiderare. Il bagno microscopico e senza areatore!!!! […] con poco spazio d’uso. Due note negative sono: il parcheggio a pagamento, 15€ giornaliero è a dir poco inaccettabile!!!!! ed il regolamento che bisogna pagare prima di soggiornare è assurdo!!!! L albergo Grand Hotel Fleming se viaggiate in macchina, si trova in un ottima posizione, vicino all' uscita Tor Di Quinto. La sera basta spostarsi di poco, anche a piedi, per raggiungere Ponte Milvio, per godersi un ottimo aperitivo e la movida notturna Romana. Le camere sono pulite ed e' ineccepibile che l housekeeping faccia un ottimo lavoro e che […] malgrado il numero elevato di camere mantenga un ottimo standard. I letti sono un po scomodi per via delle reti troppo ammorbidite dall uso. La colazione e di tipo catena di montaggio con macchina dispensa cappuccini al latte concentrato. Avendo soggiornato piu volte al Fleming non ho potuto fare a meno di notare che nessuno del front desk sorridere o interagire con i clienti in maniera tale da potersi definire un ricevimento, l impressione e' che il personale sia annoiato e stanco dalle stupide richieste fatte dai loro clienti. La camera, se acquistata al rate offerto da Hotel .com ha un eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo tale da rendere piu che soddisfatti i clienti del soggiorno al Fleming altrimenti, al full rate, lasciate perdere.
