I would say my stay there in Turner Hotel Rome, was quite pleasing. The place is not far from Terminal, about 10-15 mins walking. The neighbourhood is... quite alright. There is a local supermarket and vegetable market just behind the hotel. It was quite convenient for me. And the hotel service is good! people are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is actually quite good, at least I love it. Nothing on the negative side, if must say, maybe the air-conditioning is not that powerful for my room. However, the air-conditioning is not working that good neither at my working place, so I guess that is Rome standard. haha by a Hotels.com guest on 06/30/12

Room was smaller than what was shown on Expedia site, different than what picture showed on Expedia. Shower was too small and no sunlight into the room. Some staff were helpful but others did not understand english. Hotel has great terrace on roof which made it easy to relax on a sunny day.

If you like aggressive gilt and bordello brocade (and I do) The Hotel Turner is an excellent choice. It's clearly a hotel that has seen better days, but the rooms are clean, the bed comfortable, the towels fluffy and the decor fabulous. Don't expect the wifi to, you know, "work." That said, it's just about as far from everywhere you want to go as it […] can be and still be in Rome. The neighborhood feels like the Upper East Side and Washington DC had a love child, but I suppose even Rome needs to put its Ministry of Agriculture somewhere. E' comunque facile trovare taxi liberi nella zona di Porta Pia. - Le camere dell'albergo NON sono tutte uguali... alcune sono buone, per esempio quelle del […] 5°piano, altre sono pessime, poichè non tutto l'albergo è stato rinnovato. All'arrivo ci è stata assegnata una camera molto piccola e poco pulita; dopo le nostre vigorose proteste abbiamo ottenuto il trasferimento in una camera migliore, dove siamo stati abbastanza comodi.
