What a great location to have as a home base to visit Rome. Employees were a little less than perfect, but, the hotel was very clean and comfortable. We actually slept better there than at home! We would surely go back to this hotel.

Nice hotel. They had a good breakfast which was included in our room rate. There was also a coffee shop and outdoor restaurant attached to the hotel. We were only about 100 yards (around the corner) from the Trevi Fountain which had good pizza, gelato and shops surrounding it. Great hotel for the location and we also were upgraded to a suite, so that probably skews my opinion. The front desk is a little surly sometimes, but overall they were very helpful. Great location too. It's really close to Trevi Fountain and walkable to tons of other locations.

A great place to stay if you want to see it all in Rome, right by the Trevi Fountain, close to spanish steps, we walked to the vatican and collesium too. Overall a good hotel, just was dissapointed that wifi did cost extra at a hotel with a 4 star rating as we got free wifi in a hotel with a 2 star rating.

Great Location, the rooms are large compared to other European rooms. If they want a 4+ rating they should condsider the following: No wash cloths or iron in room which is aggrevating. They say it is a fire hazard-which is silly-worse case they could supply ones with an automatic cut off or offer to run one up to your room! The breakfast certainly works […] and tasted fine, not as much selection as other hotels I have stayed at in Rome or other Italian cities. My mother stopped to take a simple cookie back to her room as we were in a hurry and they made her put it back so that was very small of them. They need to have coffee that is actually brewered not the instant coffee machines they use. The staff was nice, but not overly nice. They spoke English which was great and very helpful. I did get a referral to eat at Alfredo's which is awesome! I asked for two wake up calls, one we received and the other the day we were leaving we did not-luckily I had my cell phone alarm on. Our rooms were on the second floor, one had two courtyard balaconies which were very nice, although there was no furniture out there to enjoy the courtyards. The other was street facing and with the shutters I couldn't hear anything so no worries there. I would stay there again for the price and location wihout hesitation. Read more

The hotel is nice, and is easy to find. It's really almost a stone throw from the Trevi Fountain.. So, no misrepresentation there. Although the bell boy and concierege were friendly, the people behind the reception desk were not: they gave the impression one disturbed them by coming to ask them questions... So, we were scared of ringing them or coming […] down to see them, and pretty much stopped doing that after the 1st day.. Other than that, good location, clean rooms (a bit on the small side, but that's typical for Rome). My bathroom and my daughters' also had a bidet; but not sure if it's a feature of all rooms. We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Hotel Delle Nazioni. The location was perfect, the breakfast, room, and service was very good. For tourists who want to see the city on foot at a leisurely pace this is ideal. It is 1 minute from Trevi Fountain, 6 minutes from the Spanish steps, 8 minutes from the Pantheon and has plenty of restaurants nearby.

This hotel has a lot of the comforts Americans are after, especially considering the cramped quarters most European hotels offer. Good-sized room, very good breakfast (although you'll want to avoid the scrambled eggs made from powder), and excellent location for walking to most of the sights of the city quickly: 60 seconds to the Trevi Fountain, five […] minutes to the Pantheon, maybe eight minutes to Piazza Navona, and fifteen minutes to the Forum, Colosseum, etc. Friendly front desk although they keep their reserve. The only real downside we experienced was the egregiously high charge for internet service, especially in this day and age. This was more than compensated by a bed that was so comfortable you couldn't help but sleep like a baby. No place is perfect, but this hotel is a good value for money. I would stay there again. we got off to a slow start but staff warmed up to us after a day or so. They were helpful with good restaurant recommendations and booked reservations.for us. When we asked for help looking for a specific item a staff member walked with us for several blocks to find the shop . They told us what to expect in the way of taxi fares. The bed was good but no comfortable chairs and poor lighting kept us from spending much time in our room. The only way we could regulate the temperature was by opening the window. We had a very nice stay at this hotel and the concierge desk was helpful for us. The hotel is right next to the Trevi Fountain and was a short cab or long walk to most of the ruins or the vatican. would recommend this hotel to others.

If you need WiFi, you purchase 1 hour of service at a time (5 Euro in the fall of 2011) and then have to use your computer in the lobby. We were pleased with our hotel room. It was a superior double with three tall shuttered windows leading to a wrought iron balcony overlooking a lovely courtyard. This hotel was in a great spot nearly 3oo yds from the Trevi Fountain and the surrounding businesses. Transportation and availability of everything you wanted to do in Rome was very easy at this Hotels location. The Hotel itself was an older building with charm and marble everywhere. The staff at the desk was very accommodating especially to people […] who don't speak Italian. Everything I asked them for they were able to provide with from taxis to directions to plug converters. The internet was not free but it was cheap enough and they gave you an ethernet cord to use. The room itself was small but comfortable with a view towards an inside courtyard. The A.C. worked well and the morning breakfast was more than acceptable. I would stay there again if I ever go back to Rome. Don't get taken by the unauthorized taxi drivers at the airport. 40 Euros for the authorized drivers, 60 euros and higher for the unauthorized taxi drivers. Excellent location only 2 short blocks from Fontana di Trevi. Room was not fancy but very adequate adn spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet had a large selection and all of the food was fresh and tasty, very convenient so I didn't have to waste time or money wondering around looking for something to eat before hitting the sites.

Pro: The location is very good; just around the corner from Trevi fountain. It was close to the bus stop, which we used to get to the Vatican. Very easy (once we figured it out) on Bus 62. The room was satisfactory, not fancy but clean and not too small. Good shower. Comfortable bed, enough towels but bring your own washcloth as hotels in Europe don't […] usually provide them. Decent breakfast with eggs, cheeses, cereal and good coffee. Con: The front desk staff! When we asked questions, we received a minimum answer with very little detail. That was difficult at times, especially when taking the bus. Eventually we figured it out but had to ask others on the street for help. The staff in general seemed like they could care less, with the exception of one front desk person who assisted us with a driver. The hotel appeared to operate more as a business hotel rather than a hotel for vacationers, which is unfortunate given the location. We did not eat dinner there and noticed that the restaurant had very few diners, which is why we ate elsewhere. Read more

The hotel is only yards away from the Trevi Fountain, and is surrounded by lots of restaurants and shopping. It is a quick walk to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. We walked to all the major sites. The rooms only have dial up internet access, so we did go to the lobby (wireless) to use our computers. The lobby connection was fine, the room connection was too slow. The interent service costs money. The room was spotless, the bathroom large, plenty of storage for clothing. One thing that caught us by surprise, they did require cash upon checkout for incidentals and city tax. The hotel arranged a private car for the trip to the airport--50 euro vs. 45 for taxi, and the driver was waiting for us (we had an early departure). The hotel is in a great location if you will be visiting many of the sites in Rome. It is less than a block from the Trevi Fountain and a short walk to the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps, although they are located in opposite directions. However, I want to comment on the street noise and the staff. The hotel is located on a main road, so there is noise from cars and motorbikes if your room is located in the front of the hotel. At times, it can be loud. Earplugs at night resolved that issue, so you might want to consider bringing them with you. As for the front desk and dining room staff, I found the employees to be cordial at best. In the U.S., hotels place a much greater emphasis on extending a warm welcome to guests and on offering excellent customer service. I do not mean to imply that the front desk or dining room staff was rude in any manner whatsoever, but I considered them to be indifferent. But for the bellman who was friendly, I rarely saw a hotel employee smile. This would not dissuade me from coming to the hotel in the future. The rooms are immaculate and the complimentary breakfast offered each day was a nice addition. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel. Read more
