We were looking for a good hotel on a tight budget and decided to stay here. I had read other reviews about the hotel staff being less than friendly, but we didn't run into that problem. The rooms are nice and clean. I even felt comfortable walking around barefoot in the room (I'm a germaphobe so that's a pretty big deal). Clean, comfortable, beautiful. We had a 2BR suite with balcony, overlooking the quaint Roma(ntic) neighborhood. In addition to the free breakfast in the dining room before we set out to tour Rome, we went to the grocery around the corner for a couple bottles of wine, some cheese, crackers, olives and fruit for an evening snack on the rooftop terrace. […] You can see St. Peter's lighted dome in the distance looking over the neighborhood. We stayed only one night after our cruise. It was a lovely hotel and provided four single beds for my husband and me and our two grandsons. This was a very nice hotel, worth returning to. They had a fabulous courtesy breakfast buffet. It is in a residential neighborhood that doesn't look so good, but was no threat. Very nice modern hotel in a bit of an obscure neighborhood. Good train and Metro service to metropolitan Rome. They should, however, provide clear, step-by-step directions to the hotel. It was quite hard to find initially, and not close to the major tourist attractions.

The hotel did an excellent job with everything that they could control. The staff was helpful, the public areas pleasant, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the cost reasonable. However, the location is off the beaten path - about a 25 minute walk north of the Vatican, and even further to historic Rome and Trastevere. The cab ride from the train station […] was nearly 40 Euros for three people. The neighborhood around the hotel, while safe, was quite covered with graffiti and somewhat dirty. We did eat at an excellent neighborhood restaurant nearby and enjoyed it very much, but the selection was limited and there were virtually no options for anything to do or see after dinner. We appreciated the good service and nice quality of the hotel, but the location made it less than ideal for tourists. If a guest had some particular reason to be in this part of the city, the Grand Hotel Tiberio offers good service and good value. Read more

Good hotel for 3 night stay. A bit out of the centre, the hotel shuttle worked fine in the morning, but not sufficient in the pm. We tried the bus service, stop around the corner, but as one never came we resorted to taxis, about €10 each way. As Rome was in the middle of a heatwave it was worth the extra money for a taxi for 4 people! Very nice HUGE room for the price - great deal! That said, it was quite a bit out of the way and you needed to take a bus or taxi to go anywhere (the hotel shuttle could only accommodate 7 people and filled up very quickly). Staff was helpful and friendly...all in all, very nice hotel!

We loved the full buffet breakfast every morning. The room was very modern and clean. We liked it that our room was made up each day. It's close to public transport. Good priced hotel, where Trafalgar tours stay, but a bit out of the way if only staying for a one or two nights. We were there for 4 and found some local restaurants which made the location more interesting after getting a bit more adventurous. Pool was small but on the hot days welcome, kids were happy and rooms were adequate.

Before booking this hotel we read mixed reviews about its location. It is a mile or so from the Vatican and further to the rest of the centre of Rome and some people were disappointed with this. We knew what to expect. It is very close to Appiano train station which is good for connecting to the airport with one change at Trastevere. You can walk to […] the Vatican, but we got used to catching the bus which has a stop a couple of minutes from the hotel and has a good frequency. It terminates at Piazza Cavor where you can easily walk across the Tiber to the Pantheon etc. We only realised toward the end of our week stay that you can get bus connections in various directions from Piazza Cavor too. The neighbourhood of the hotel seems very safe and has a collection of small shops, bars & take aways. The hotel has an impressive lobby, the hotel staff are helpful and friendly and the buffet breakfasts are well stocked with ample choice. The gym was quite good too. Our bedroom had a great bathroom/shower. Not so good were the key cards to get into bedrooms - there's a tricky knack to making them work. The WiFi worked but had a rather cumbersome security system which only allowed one device to connect at a time - not so good for teenagers with smartphones that all want to connect at once. ローマへの観光で２泊しました。ローマ中心部からは少し離れているため交通状況を心配していましたが、電車の駅がすぐ裏手にあり、郊外電車とメトロを乗り継げばローマ中心部へすぐに行ける便利な立地でした。ホテルの周辺も落ち着いた住宅街で、フロントではおいしいピッツァリアやイタリアンレストランを紹介していただき、食事の面でも楽しむことができました。レストランではサラダもあり、バラエティに富んだ朝食をいただくことができ、家族みんな満足しました。またローマに行く機会があれば、ぜひ利用したいと思います。

Ligger utenfor sentrum, men tar kun 15 minutter med buss, som stopper like ved hotellet. Togstasjon er også like ved. Hotellet tilbyr også shuttlebuss til sentrum, men plass på bussen bør bestilles minst dagen før. Fint svømmebasseng (selv om det er veldig lite).
