"Great location"
If you are looking for accommodaton that is handy to the main train terminal in Rome, you can't beat this one as it's literally a 5 minute walk. The hotel has good signage so it's easy to find. Like so many hotels in Rome, the rooms are very small. I had a single with no window - OK for one night but could get depressing if your stay is longer. The […] room and bathroom were clean and had everything you might need, just on a miniature scale. The hotel has free wifi whcih is a huge bonus nowadays, and the reception staff were helpful and courteous and there's a lift for your luggage. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel as I had to leave too early so I can't comment but the breakfast room looked ok! All in all, this hotel has a great location and although I haven't stayed in other hotels in the area, from the outside at least, it looked like one of the better ones. In the Termini/Esquiline area, which is full of 2/3 star hotels which are generally pretty dismal, Hotel Piemonte is something of a diamond in the rough.
