Slightly out of the city but on a great bus/metro system for only 1Euro for 75 mins travel on either/both with tickets available at reception. Location also means it is quiet at night!!! My two children and I were in Rome in January and stayed at Pineta Palace. The first thing they did when we arrived were drawing on a map where the hotel was, where the closest bus stop was, metro and sightings. They were very friendly and told us everything we needed to know. Breakfast is included but it could have been better. Hvis du er den kræsne type og ønsker dig en luksuriøs ophold efter alle reglene,måske skal du søge andet sted - men Pineta Palace er hotel hvor du faktisk får vikelig meget for pengene! Meget venlig og hjælpsom staff i både reception og restaurant(congrats PP-team!) :man får med det samme et kort over Rom + tips til transport og besøgsværdige steder.Hvis […] i har i plan at besøge så meget som muligt,jeg vil anbefale at i tager et Rome-Pass(kan købes i hotelet) hvor for 30euro får 3 dage med fri transport+2 gratis adgang til musser,udstillinger,osv + reduceret pris på de andre steder der findes på listen (bemæk:Vatikanen er ikke på listen).Tilbage til Pineta Palace, det eneste lille "problem" er at hotelet ligger udenfor byens center og man er nød til at benyte transport for at come "downtown" .Det vil heller ikke være en problem hvis bus 94(som kommer tæt på hotelet og kører direkte til Vatican) vil komme mere ofte end den gjorte da vi var derned ( det var også ferie periode i Rom,metroet virkede ikke og skulle supleres med busser,så måske derfor var kaos i det offentlige transport). Men ellers,som sagt ,vi fik en god oplevelse hos Pineta Palace. Entgegen einiger hier doch sehr negativen Bewertungen waren wir völlig zufrieden. Über 4 Sterne kann man sich natürl. streiten, aber das haben wir bisher überall im Mittelmeerraum erlebt, dass das nicht mit unserem Standard vergleichbar ist - für eine Städtetour war es völlig i.O. Man ist ja sowieso kaum da. Das Wichtigste war ein sauberes Bett und […] das war pikobello - auch Reinigung und Handtücherwechsl erfolgten tgl. Auch wenn die Einrichtung schon älter war, so war es doch ordentlich. Unsere Tochter hatte diesmal sogar ein richtiges Bett und nicht nur einen ausklappbaren Sessel, Größe war prima. Auch über das Frühstück können wir uns nicht beschweren - von allem war was da. Die Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit - ("wie es in den Wald reinschallt, so ...") Die Lage war i.O: - 1x verfahren, dann wusste man Bescheid. Wir würden dieses Hotel wieder nehmen. Vielleicht sollten einige Meckerer auch mal über Preis-Leistung nachdenken. Wenn ich für solche Preise Flug und Hotel buche, dann kann ich nun mal keinen Superluxus erwarten, es gibt ja dafür auch die teureren Hotels... "Super Hotel! Nette Umgebung und Personal"
Das Hotel liegt zwar etwas ausserhalb von Rom, doch da die Buslinie 49 am Hotel liegt, ist das kein Problem und man ist in einer halben Stunde am Vatikan. Ich war zusammen mit einer Freundin da und es war sehr angenehm, dass auch wir von der Rezeption für voll genommen wurden. Das Personal war auch sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet war super: es […] gab wirklich alles, also von Müsli über Brot und Rührei bis hin zu Kuchen. Auch die anderen Gäste waren angenehm. Viele Familien und reisegruppen, aber keine lauten Jugendgruppen, zum Wochenende kamen dann auch Businessleute. Die Immer haben alle einen grosszügigen Balkon und Klimaanlage, sind zwar ein wenig hellhörig, aber es war nie unangemessen. Leider gab es nur Internetzugang gegen Gebühr, da kein öffentlicher PC in der Lobby vorhanden ist. Die Umgebung ist eine nette und normale Wohngegend, ein Supermarkt liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe, nur der Park ist nicht zu empfehlen, da es eher ein verdorrtes Haferfeld ist (zumindest im Hochsommer).
