"Not the best"
The service here was great as well as the continental breakfast, but other than that everything was an extra charge. The internet, the work out room, the shuttle into Rome. And yes you have to shuttle or taxi or something because it is way to far to walk so plan an extra 30 minutes traveling each way morning and night. It also is rated as a 4 star hotel […] and it isn't really bad, but not the 4 star rating I was expected. More like a 3. This hotel would probably be a 2 maybe 3 star in the states. It wasn't bad, just had higher expectations and Rome makes you pay a higher tax for four star hotels. This hotel was clean, it was maintained, but it just wasn't what I expect from a 4 star hotel. It was a great deal, and I would stay again, but I would be ready this time for a 2.5-3 star stay. the location of the hotel was not very good, the explanation on the website is not enough (it does'nt say you should take a bus from metro station). it was very difficult to find, even the bus driver didn't know exactly where it was, and we end up lost twice! "Up grade!"
Staff were excellent and helpful, but I couldn't get past the condition of our room. Although I "think" it was clean, it is in dire need of a make over, particularly in the bathrooms. Although we didn't spend much time in the room, I would've preferred to spend the extra money and stay in a nicer hotel, because I felt like we were staying in a motel. […] Panelling was coming off, the ceiling in the shower was sinking, the shower head was difficult to keep secure so we had to hold it and the toilet water ran unless it was flushed just the right way. I know one day it ran all day, well at least from the time it was cleaned to until we got back to the room that evening and flushed it correctly. This hotel seems to be ok. Most of the reception staff except Yasmin appear to be very indifferent. Treating customers according to the rooms status is very rude and they treat you differently if you book only a basic room. Shower area is too tiny & will not fit little big people. Hotel is quite certainly out of the way from most of the attractions […] in Rome and not close to any Metro stations. As already commented by someone else, we found that rooms have walls, roof and floors are so thin you can hear the noises of all sorts from other rooms which is very annoying. We were not very happy in this hotel; but for the money you pay, probably you get only this. It was astonishing how many groups of people came to this hotel! "Helt okej hotell med bra utsikt"
En bit från centrum men inga problem om man är van med buss och/eller tunnelbana, inte gångavstånd. Bra utsikt om man bor på 8:e våningen. Kändes som dom var snåla eftersom det var svindyrt för att använda Wifi om man inte betalade per dag då priset var 10 Euro men det tycker man borde ingå. Normal standard på rum och hotell. Helt okej frukost med olika […] saker i Italiensk stil (lite mer sötsaker än vad jag är van vid). 3 Euro /Natt per person tar Staden i skatt så det får man räkna in i priset. Trevlig personal som gav oss t.o.m. nål och tråd när vi behövde. Rummet hade 2 eluttag att använda om man ville koppla ur TV:n. AC hittade vi ingen kontroll till eller hur man stängde av. Var skönt på dagen men lite kallt när man sov. Schyst hotell men ligger som sagt en liten bit bort och man måste betala för wifi. l'albergo è gradevole e relativamente comodo per chi deve gravitare in zona monte mario - roma nord ovest; di sera però è come risiedere in un deserto per via della mancanza di ristoranti e ritrovi nelle vicinanze; discreto ma ovvio il ristorante dell'hotel, che propone piatti romani ma niente di eccezionale; ritengo che il grosso handicap di questa […] struttura sia la mancanza di insonorizzazione tra le camere e forse-a mio modestissimo parere- la mancanza di una leggera selezione a monte del tipo di clientela; personalmente mi sono trovato in mezzo ad una comitiva di orientali estremamente rumorosa anche in ore notturne, nonchè molto maleducata che probabilmente sarebbero stati più opportunamente ospitati in una pensione a 0 stelle in zona esquilino (staz. termini) laddove esiste una chinatown consolidata: sarebbe forse opportuno che la direzione operasse una valutazione ed assegnasse le stanze con criteri di omogeneità umana, anche con incremento del prezzo.
