"No frills hotel, but good for a short stay!"
This is a basic, no frills hotel, but everything is clean and well maintained. The rooms and bathrooms are small and breakfast was pretty basic. The reception staff were friendly and helpful though and the location is great when arriving by train as it is an easy walk from the station. The surrounding area is ok and there are a host of reasonable restaurants […] serving good food around. Despite choosing a room with a street view, we slept quite well with not too much traffic noise. This hotel was perfect for a 2-night stay as we spent most of the time sightseeing anyway. Good location. Very neer to the city terminal. The personal was very pleasent and service oriented. The room was very dark, didn't look very fresh and the shower was not working properly. This hotel is very popular, and the period we stayed is pretty full booking. I think people like this hotel because it's private garden. Yet, for our case, they arranged a room for us in the ground floor, the room is facing the street and the air condition is not working. So we requested to change to another room, and they arranged a room for us that […] is pretty small due to the full booking situation. The hotel is a bit old, but still nicely maintained. The staff is nice and helpful. Location wise, it is around 10 min walk from the train station, but this side is not as good as the other side of the train station where there is more restaurants and shops. I think this hotel is good for western travellers, but for asian travellers like us, the garden is not really a key point rather I prefer a bigger and more comfortable room with this pricing. As the name suggests, this hotel caters to English speakers who want to feel at home, right down to providing really bad instant coffee and mediocre food at breakfast. Breakfast is "served" in a stuffy basement room, but we got a peak at nice gardens for dining. The desk staff is happy to speak English to clients, but not able to provide much information. "Helt okej hotell!"
Mysigt hotell, vi hade turen att få ett rum ute vid trädgården som höjde upplevelsen. Hade läst många negativa omdömen om frukosten så jag hade inte så höga förväntningar. Men den var ingen höjdare, mer kaffebröd än frukost. Det som fanns var vitt bröd, ost, salami, skinka, glada kon ost, yoghurt, flingor, kaffe, te, saftjuice och en massa sockerkakor, […] choklad, crossianter och onyttigheter.. Kanske inte det vi är vana med här i Sverige men man kunde absolut äta sig mätt. Vet i och för sig inte vad man äter i Italien till frukost? Sen så finns det ju restauranger runt hörnet om man är alltför kinkig? Bra läge, lätt att hitta till hotellet när man är lite vilsen på en kortsemester. "Hotel in guter Lage mit kleinen Schwächen"
Städtereise vom 31.10.-4.11.2012 Den ersten Tag/Nacht hatte es im Zimmer 18°C (Die Heizkörper waren kalt und die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht) Der Fernseher funktionierte auch nicht. An der Rezeption erklärte man uns das die Fernsehprogramme wegen des Wetters nicht gingen und es nächsten Tag behoben wird. Bezüglich der Temperatur meinten sie das […] dies doch eh normal sei, und spielten unsere Reklamationen mit lächerlichen Vergleichen (in New York sei Wirbelsturm, zu Hause sei es auch nicht wärmer??!) herrunter! Nach längeren hin und her bemühte man sich dann doch um unser Zimmer - ohne Erfolg. Wir verlangten dann noch Zusatzdecken für die Nacht. Am zweiten Tag als wir am Abend von unerem Städtetripp ins Zimmer zurück kamen war es angenehm warm im Zimmer (22°C) und die Heizkörper waren heiß - super! Der Fernseher funktionierte von Anfang an nicht - was bis zur Abreise so blieb! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Hotel ist sehr sauber! "Tæt på alt - noget for pengene"
Hotellet er pænt og rent og ligger godt. Der er en gårdhave som sikkert er meget brugbar på rette årstider. Kan anbefale hotellet til prisen men der er koldt og man sover IKKE med dyner og sengene er korte. Den ene af os er 1,95 og sengen var ALT for lille til ham, men det gik for et par dage.
