"Not what it was..."
Having stayed at the Astoria Garden twice before, we chose it for this holiday for a number of reasons, including the fact that the hotel provides car parking facilities and valet parking. Alas, when we arrived this time, we were told that this was not a service that the hotel offered because they were only a 3 star hotel! Although the room was functional […] and clean, it was very small and the decor is in need of major work. The hotel, even though it is comfortable, is in need of some updating and repairs. "Hotel liegt nur wenige Gehminuten (3) in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Termini"
Hotel entspricht der Beschreibung. Lage ist gut, da Bhf Termini in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Kaffee beim Frühstück aus dem Automaten ist eine Herausforderung an die Geschmacksrezeptoren. Unser Zimmer war etwas hellhörig, so dass wir die Stimmungslage und Beschäftigungen (meist lautes deutsches TV ) der Nachbarn […] recht genau mitverfolgen konnten, mussten. "Das Astoria Garden liegt 5 Minuten vom Termini (Hauptbahnhof) entfernt,von dort erreicht man alles."
Wir hatten nur eine kurze Wartezeit, bis wir ins Zimmer durften. Es gab einen Cappucino als Überbrückung. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Angestellte. Hotelzimmer ist schön und sauber. Kein Luxus, aber für die Erkundung von Rom absolut ausreichend und sehr zentral. Aber ruhig, trotz der zentralen Lage. Es entsprach den Erwartungen.
