Location is a big problem with this hotel. It is not close to the heart of the city. It is a few blocks to the subway and two stops to the terminal. The surrounding neighborhood is for college students as it is right next to the university. There is nothing to do in the evening and no restaurants to walk to. The hotel is in need of renovation, and the pictures they show on the website are misleading. My room was very small, spartan, and the bathroom was tiny. The shower had mold growing in it. We got lucky and found a free parking spot for our rental car right next to the hotel and we left it there for three days and took the train to see the sights. The location of this hotel makes for easy excursions to all of the tourist spots. It's an easy 10 minute walk to the metro where you can drop your Euros into a machine that sells you cheap/easy […] transport all over Rome. The front desk staff gave us the keys to our very nice and clean and comfortable room. AC was nice. Beds were great and all was very clean. There's a great wine store about two blocks from Best Western Roma Globus and we headed there after check in. We also found some good food in the area - pizza, happy hour appetizers, gelato, etc. We did all the tourist stuff for three days and enjoyed our time in Rome. The breakfast and dinner at Best Western Roma Globus' restaurant were very good - breakfast was included - dinner was affordable and very convenient and tasty. The staff were all very nice - this is a good place away from the crowds where you can base camp and see Rome - do it! Read more

The breakfast was average - okay for a stay of one or tao days, but if you are staying longer you will soon get tired of the selection. It was a pleasant and quiet hotel in a good neighbourhood (university). The breakfast was nice with various snacks for every appetite. The room was clean and cosy but the bathroom a little bit small. The location of the hotal is not very convenient for sightseeing because you have to change metro line to reach all the roman sites excepr Colisseum and this becomes kind of tiring when you have to do it at least twice a day. In addition, you also have to walk about 500 meters to get to the closest metro stop (Policlinico). As a closure, i think that the hotel offers you a fair stay with a lot of benefits but also some drawbacks that you have to consider if you want to spend your stay in Rome as an original tourist. While this hotel is not central, it is only two metro stops or one bus ride from termini. The policinico metro stop is two blocks away. The hotel is located in a university/hospital area. Great pizza shops abound and there is a small market just down the street on the opposite side of the road to the hotel. By the way, there is a disabled elevator at one of the metro exits which helps with your luggage. The room we had was on the top floor which was great. We had our own deck area which had high shade potted plants. Breakfast was very good for Italy. They had hot scrambled eggs as well as the usual continetal breakfast items. The only thing lacking was poor maintance of our bathroom shower. The head was damaged and had scale build up, and the glass shower door over the bath was missing the rubber seal towards the wall and as a result water flooded the floor. These are easy items for them to fix. The staff had good english and there is free wi fi in the lobby and two computers for guest use. For the price, great value. Read more

Firstly the Staff - the guys and gals at the front dest were brilliant, really really friendly, go with a happy face and they really will go above and beyond (my partner took ill and they printed off a list and maps of local 24 hour pharmacy's... thats amazing service to me. The hotel - Nice quaint hotel, securities great, the rooms were lovely and clean and massive telly (although it was all in Italian ;-) ), the cleaners were really helpful giving extra towels and cups when needed even with the language barrier. I was very disappointed with the hotel and service. The rooms were not very comfortable and I didn't get the impression of cleanliness, even though I couldn't really see a lot of dirt on a quick look. I spent a night there, as part of our honeymoon trip to Italy. I had emailed the hotel before, to ask them to guarantee we would get a double bed. They […] sent an email back, saying it was confirmed. When we got to the room, there we 2 single beds... the hotel didn't even bother in trying to place them close together. The bath towels were the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in my life. They were not exactly towels, more like a gigantic tea towel. I called reception to try to get decent ones, but they said that's all they had. To add another negative to our stay, we had to print our boarding passes to catch an early flight on the next day. It was a bank holiday in Italy, which means most of internet cafes would be closed. Aamupala oli ok ja henkilökunta oli avuliasta. Huone siisti, viereinen vilkas tie teki siitä meluisan, jotne aamu-unet jäivät lyhyeksi ja öisin tuli heräiltyä. Matkan jälkeen vaadittu kaupunkivero tuli yllätyksenä ja jätti huonot tunnelmat paluumatkalle. Siitä pitäisi ilmoitta paremmin ja periä jo etukäteen.

Rome est une destination superbe et l'hôtel est très bien situé. L'accés au métro est à 300 mètres. Le personnel de l'hôtel est accueillant tout comme les Romains en général. hotel is erg netjes en ligt in een veilige rustige buurt waar je, heel belangrijk, je auto gratis kan parkeren. Ook zijn er genoeg leuke eettenten in de buurt (bijvoorbeeld in de aangrenzende locale uitgaanswijk San Lorenzo) waar geen toeristenvoedsel wordt geserveerd.

Hotellet var helt strålende isolert sett! God frokost til italiensk hotell å være. Ligger midt i universitetsområdet, men lite støy om natten. 5 min å gå til metrostasjonen, to stasjoner unna Termini (sentralbanestasjon). Lå utenfor turistkartene vi hadde, så litt vanskelig å finne frem hvis man ville gå til/fra byen. Få restauranter i nærheten, så […] vi endte alltid med å ta metroen inn til sentrum for å spise der. Anbefaler hotellet dersom du vil bruke penger på andre ting enn overnatting, og likevel vil bo rent og pent med frokost inkludert. We were pleasantly surprised with Hotel Globus! It was nice and clean, and looked like it was newly renovated. The rooms were not very big, but had a little balcony. I find it to be perfect for a long week end in Rome, and reasonably priced (we were there off season). Det var ett helt ok hotell, alla nödvändigheter fanns och det var rent och snyggt. Ligger någon tunnelbanestation från centrum, ett lite lungnare område. Personalen kunde kanske vara mer förberädd på frågor om Roms sevärdigheter så att de viste hur man tog sig till olika platser från deras hotell, men de hjälpte till så gott de kunde ändå.

Vi blev meget positivt overraksede over hotellet. Det lå to metrostop fra Tremini (Hovedbanegården) og ca. 250 m. fra metroen. Centralt, men ikke midt i turisthelvedet. Området var ungt (ikke støjende), med mange hyggeligt cafeer og barer, hvor man kunne nyde en kold øl eller et glas vin om aftenen.
