I feel that I got lucky when I booked this hotel. If you've been to Napoli, then you've probably told your friends to not bother going only to shake... your head and laugh when they do. If you're thinking of going, don't. It's disgusting, and you're more likely to get sideswiped by a crazy local on a moped than anything else. Just drive right by and go to Sorrento. But if, like me, you just have to see for yourself just how bad it is, stay here. It's secure, clean, relatively quiet, and has a restaurant. It's pretty hard to find. There's a tiny sign on the building and it's next to the "Compro Oro" sign. Big double wooden doors and a set of buzzers. Ring the appropriate button and yell "prenoto camera!". They'll buzz you in. As you walk through the moped shop to the stairs, you'll be thinking to yourself "oh great, i'm going to be sleeping on a stained mattress on the floor somewhere". Which is understandable since you most likely just survived one of the most harrowing drives of you life. But fear not...you'll go up two flights and see the majestic double doors of an ACTUAL hotel. And try the seafood pizza. by a Hotels.com guest on 06/22/11
