While not right in Venice, if you get the bus/vaporetti pass for the whole time of your stay you can very easily get to Lido by Vaporetti and take a bus right to the hotel for no additional cost. I do NOT recommend a car with the ferry as you can wait for close to two hours just to get on the ferry. The hotel had friendly help, nice and clean rooms […] and bathrooms, a quiet neighborhood, wifi for a reasonable price in the lobby, and an ok breakfast. My only real frustration was the lack of really hot water but this was fairly standard in Italy regardless of which hotel we stayed in. Read more

Comfy hotel in a nice area. A bit far from the main stop to venice, but the hotel provided a shuttle service daily free of charge which was nice. Loved the room with the view and the buffet breakfast. Recommended.

The only issue we had was finding it. I looked for directions before we came but didn’t really find any useful ones. So here you go......You need to get the water bus from the airport to the island of Lido, the blue or red line. Then you get the A or B bus from where you get off the boat, then the bus goes takes about 10 minutes to get to the area of […] malamocco, there’s 5 stops in the malamocco area, you need to get off on the 4th one. It’s says on the bus stop which one you're on (4/5). Then literally walk 2 minutes straight on, then cross the road and you'll see it on the left, there’s no footpath though which is what confused us a bit. Also I was worried that we weren’t actually 'in' Venice, but it’s not an issue, the heart of Venice is st marks square then there are lots of little islands surrounding it, such as lido, murano, and burano. You get travel cards for the boats and buses.18 Euros for 12 hours 20 Euros 24 hours 25 Euros for 48 hours etc. I recommend working out which days you want to travel then get a travel card to work around that. As some days you might want to laze around, we had a few days where we spent and the beach and lying by the hotel pool. Hotel food is nice, breakfast is perfectly satisfactory I don’t see what some reviewers had a problem with, lunch and tea in the hotel is a lot cheaper than some of the main touristy places in Venice. Staff were helpful and friendly, I had a great time, both as a sight-seeing and beach holiday, I would stay again. Read more

After a couple of nights in the centre of Venice and a 7 night cruise around the adriatic I wanted to end the trip with a relaxing day near the beach so booked ca d'oro because of the excellent price and it had a pool. It worked out perfectly. We spent a day at the beach then stayed at this hotel, checked out at midday but stayed around the pool till […] 6pm before making our way to the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Great rooms, lovely restaurant on site, quiet, great facilities, great pool. Very helpful staff too. My only negative is the location. You news to use public transport to get here from the vaporetto stop at the lido and to get to a sandy beach. This could be awkward for some people especially with luggage. As long as you don't mind the transport (a travel card works out best value) then go for it. A great way to enjoy Venice but get away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Read more

We were happy because we just wanted sun, a pool and to relax! We had a very chilled time. Positives - nice pool and loungers, free access to gym, hotel was modern and in good condition, fridge in room, wifi CHEAP and you don't have to use in one go. Negatives - not many restaurants nearby, you have to pay for use of the highly advertised tennis courts […] (as a sports professional I can say they are NOT CHEAP and personally chose not to play!!), female receptionists lovely but one guy not helpful, beach is a bus ride away. Great if you're not looking to meet people, but just wanna chill. Not great if you wanna use it as a base to explore Venice (you'd wanna be closer to port). Yes breakfast buffet is same everyday, but good selection. Getting there - 5Euro bus (number 5) from Airport to Pl.Romo in Venice, then 6Euro to get boat across (any to Lido - boats operate 24/7). Then get bus (A or B) and travel down past football centre on right to one of Malmarocco stops. Not easy to find if you arrive at 2am in the dark, but it is on the left of the main road down and clearly labelled - prob easiest to go past it and then get off first time. We stayed at the Ca' Del Moro hotel in July 2011. The rooms were very nicely decorated and very modern BUT very thin walls. If someone was talking in the room across the wing and it connected somwhat with your room, you could hear it loud and clear. If someone is talking in the entrance corridor downstairs you could hear it too. If you are planning […] on staying at the hotel and using the pool (which is a very cold pool, even in July) than make sure you bring your own towels, or be prepared to pay 3 Euros for a towel rental as you are forbidden to bring your room towels to work out or go to the pool. The beach near the hotel is over rated, as it is very rocky and unswimmable. There is a better beach closer to the boat stop. The hotel breakfast was good, offering a selection of pastries, yogurt, boiled eggs, cereal, coffee, juice and apples. Transportation to the hotel is fairly good, as there are two buses from the boat stop that can take your there (Bus A and B), both stop just prior to the hotel. The tv selection was poor, but I guess if you are staying in Venice you are not there to watch TV.... Otherwise, I would say, out of the 4 hotels we stayed at in Italy, this would be my second best one. I would stay there again..... Read more

It is a bit out of the way and the area doesn't have much to offer in walking distance for restaurants or shopping. If you're looking for a quiet place away from all the crowds in Venice then you'll be very happy here or if you don't mind some bus trips to get around then you'll be fine too. If you're there for more than a day I would recommend the tourist transit passes that allow unlimited use of the Lido buses as well as the water bus system to Venice. Wir waren mit 3 Generationen mehr als 1 Woche im Hotel, als Ausgangspunkt für Venedig ideal! Bushaltestelle ca 150 m vom Hotel, um zum Vaporetto zu gelangen. Schöner pool, viele Sonnenliegen, nettes pool-Restaurant mit moderaten Preisen, hilfsbereites Personal, alles sehr sauber. Frühstücksbüffet war Ok.

Ist zwar etwas abgelegen, dafür hat man seine Ruhe wenn es gewünscht ist. Zimmer ist einfach aber sehr sauber. Die Klimaanlage ist wirklich super und in der warmen Jahreszeit auch angebracht TOP. Hotelrestaurant ist prima und die Kellner freundlich. Fazit: Preis- Leistungsverhältnis Sehr gut!

Obwohl wir bereits um 10,00 Uhr morgens im Hotel ankamen, konnten wir sofort unser Zimmer beziehen. Das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss mit Terrasse würden wir jederzeit wieder nehmen, bei dem Preis- und Leistung stimmt. Alle waren sehr freundlich. Mycket trevligt och prisvärt hotell med nära avstånd till Venedig. Frukosten var helt okej med lite olika och välja på. Rummen var rena och modernt inredda. Det enda jag saknade var ett litet kylskåp. Hotellet ligger en bra bit ner på Lido men kommunikationerna var mycket goda. För att åka till Venedig fick man först ta buss och sedan byta till båt […] (tog cirka 20 minuter till Markusplatsen). Dessa gick var 10e minut hela dygnet runt och på hotellet kunde man köpa olika periodkort. Att köpa ett kort lönar sig om man vill kunna åka lite som man vill. Restaurangen på hotellet var väl kanske inte den allra bästa men duger för en lunch. Hotellområdet var annars fint och rent med en stor och fin pool. het verblijf op zich was aangenaam. De kamer is vrij sec, niet luxueus. Lakens werden om de 3 dagen vervangen tenzij zichtbaar vuil. Handdoeken werden vervangen ondanks het feit dat ze nog op het rekje hingen. ontbijt was dik in orde. Broodjes, kaas, vlees, cornflakes, muesli, gekookt eitje, fruitsappen, koffie, koffiekoeken, yoghurt, fruitsla... etc. […] Buffet kortom. Het lag nog vrij ver van het San Marco (30 min met openbaar vervoer). We waren hier van op de hoogte dus hier valt geen punt van te maken en heeft ook niet gestoord. Ook gratis pendeldienst voorzien 's morgens tussen 8u30 en 10u30. Accommodatie was ook aanwezig; zwembad en fitnessruimte gratis voor gasten. Het zwembad moet natuurlijk wel open zijn. (op site stond open vanaf 15 mei, vertrokken op 26 mei en nog steeds niet gevuld!!) Dit was alles behalve aangenaam! Tennispleinen ook aanwezig maar betalend(22 euro voor 1uur zonder materiaal, met is 25 euro). Restaurant was top! super vriendelijke bediening en betaalbaar! Read more

Trevligt hotell med trevlig personal! Tar ett tag att ta sig in till Venedig, men shuttle bus till båten finns och vanlig buss går också förbi hotellet. Frukosten var helt ok och wifi går att köpa per timme i receptionen. Stort plus att man kan köpa busskort osv på hotellet, bra service!

Die Zimmer sind modern und klein. Wer gerne die Stadt vom Wasser aus kennen lernt der Ideale Ort. Vom Bahnhof bis zum LIdo fährt man 1 Stunde mit dem Vapareto. Sehr schön und romantisch. Unbedingt bie Ankunft ein Abonoment kaufen für das Vaporeto, Kinder haben Ermässigung, das ist nicht angeschrieben, die Preise gelten für 24h es gibt Abos für mehrere Tage. Der Bus ist auch inkl. Un très bel hôtel un peu perdu dans le lido mais très accessible (il faut néanmoins compter facilement 15-20mn de bus puis 15mn de vaporetto pour se rendre à la Place St Marc) Les chambres sont spacieuses et très agréables. Le gros plus de l'hotel est sa grande piscine, très très agréable en été après une journée de visite. Les transats y sont nombreux […] et il y a peu de monde dans l'eau (surtout le matin, un vrai bonheur). Point faible de l'hotel : le petit déjeuner. Le choix est vaste mais la qualité n'y est pas. Pour conclure, une adresse agréable si cela ne vous gène pas de séjourner en dehors de Venise. Bel hôtel, propre, l'accueil est agréable. Le petit déjeuner est globalement bon, sauf le jus d'orange à l'eau et les croissants... Les chambres sont confortables mais pas vraiment assonorisées. La piscine est agréable après une journée de marche dans Venise... sauf quand les enfants du Lido débarquent pour fêter un anniversaire.
