We took the cheapest room and it was the cheapest of any of the hotels I could find. As expected, the room was tiny but had the amenities including a tv. Everything worked. The best part was the location only a few steps from the main canal. I would recommend this hotel based on the value.

Most people stay off the island and water boat in during the day time, leaving the town mostly empty at night. We loved the hotel! From the begining we were greeted with smiles. The room was magnificant - overlooking the Grand Canal and literally 100 yards from the Rialto Bridge. Many shops and dining in the area and just a quick walk to the Fish Market or St Mark's Square. We cant wait to come back! Our 13 year old son loved it too! HIGHLY reccomend

What a great place! Right on the Grand Canal in view of the Rialto Bridge. The internet reception was not the best, but made up for by the wonderful and helpful staff. They were the friendliest we have seen on our stay in Italy. The common rooms on each floor had great balconies with canal views and the breakfast was very good.

Exactly what we needed - with a great view. The only thing that was lacking was the quality of the breakfast, but it is a 3 star hotel - if we wanted something fancier, we would have paid for a higher star rating. Employees were very nice, and always ready to help.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Ovidius and we loved it!!! we arrived around 11.30pm. From the outside the hotel doesn't look very much, but don't be disheartened as once inside the hotel is full of italian charm and personality. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We found it such a luxury to be able to return to our hotel room throughout the day (usually to drop off shopping bags!) and just take 10 minutes out of the hustle and bustle. Room was cleaned immaculately daily and the air conditioning was a life saver (* one note they may wish to invest in a shower curtain!!!) Check out is 11am on day of departure, however they kindly stored our cases til 7pm that night as we weren't flying until late. Really a lovely hotel, we would definately recommend it!! Read more

This hotel was gem. Perfect location to see Venice. Room was great with very modern bathroom. Walls of room were covered in fabric and the ceiling light was murano glass. Our window looked out onto a lane. The breakfast room looked onto the grand cannal and had a veranda that you could go out onto and watch all the traffic. We found a coop market on the way to st marks square so it was quite convient for snacks etc. Breakfasts were the norm for Italy except they did not have cheese other than those "cheese" triangles and crosiants were in plastic packaging. Then we discovered the Rialto Market stop, on the correct side of the canal, and just 5 minutes 'stair free' to/from the hotel. There's another useful stop, the same side but the other way, and a handy traghetto near there and another near the market, to save fighting the crowds across the bridge. Useful free luggage storage on last day. We even got back a bit early to say goodbye and thank you to our favourite receptionist. Read more

部屋はとてもかわいらしく綺麗でした。スタッフの対応も良く、チェックアウトが朝早かった私たちに定刻より30分早く朝食が取れるようサービスしてくれました。朝食も豪華で、運河の景色を楽しみながら優雅に朝ごはんでした。一つ気になったのは、お風呂がトイレとユニットなのに、仕切りが無く、立派な浴槽とシャワーだけの状態。もちろん使用後は床が濡れてしまい、洗面台やトイレの周りまで濡れてしまう始末。これ以外は本当に素晴らしいホテルでした。オススメです。

Fuimos con mi señora, es un hotel pequeño muy cerca del puente Rialto y 5 a 10 minutos caminando de la Plaza San Marcos. El personal que atiende es muy acogedor y hay una recepcionista que habla muy bien el español. A 3 cuadras sin escaleras de la parada Rialto Mercato del Vaporetto, por lo que se puede llegar desde la estación Santa Lucía con maletas […] grandes (con ruedas). La decoración es como la muestran en las fotos, muy romántica. Hay algunas habitaciones que dan al Gran Canal. El desayuno lo tomas admirando el Gran Canal y su movimiento.Desde el hotel a la estación Santa Lucía son 30 a 45 minutos caminando. Lo recomiendo... Estuvimos una noche, sin embargo viajabamos al otro día tarde a Roma vía tren. Entregamos la habitación, nos cuidaron las maletas y nos dejaron ocupar una sala de estar, muy amplia y bonita, con servicio de baño y ducha si lo necesitabamos, antes de partir.... gente muy amable y acogedora nosotros volveremos. J'y retournerai sûrement. Accueil super sympa. Possibilité de laisser sa valise en arrivant et en attendant sa chambre. Si vous n'avez pas votre chambre tout de suite, ils proposent une chambre avec douche, wc, pour vous rafraichir (idem lors de votre départ). L'hôtel est idéalement situé près du pont Rialto et toute son animation. N'hésitez pas à aller […] manger sur une terrasse en face de l'hôtel. Sans doute très "touristique" mais très bon à un prix très compétitif. Sinon, plus romantique, en sortant de l'hôtel, prenez à gauche et encore à gauche. Un petit resto très sympa se trouve plus loin sur votre droite, au coin d'une petite place (génial). Allez manger un melon jambon de parme avec un petit vin blanc italien dans le quartier de l'Academia (très calme, en dehors des circuits touristiques classiques) dans la Fondamenta Bragadin au début de cette "route", à gauche en venant de la Calle de la Chiesa. En face il y 2 gondoliers. n'hésitez pas à prendre une gondole là, loin des embouteillages du pont des Soupirs !! Vous en aurez pour votre argent.
