Hotel Metropolitan

This was a lovely place to stay. Service was top notch and the room was very nice and comfortable. A very convenient location, right in the center of town, walkable to everything, including the train station. I'd stay here again. Oh, just avoid the bar/cafe on the corner -- they were very rude, but of course that's no reflection on this hotel.

Metropolitan is a fabulous hotel and legend has it a former brothel! The staff is fabulous and responsive. The rooms are a little small but very comfortable. I'd definitely stay there again. The hotel was mediocre overall. Facilities are acceptable; location was very good...close to Ols City and Rail station. Staff was not helpful. The hotel was very nice and extremely close to all the sites. It is on a side street not accessible by car, so you must carry your own luggage for a very short walk. This is a very clean hotel, with a very friendly staff, in the middle of everything in Bologna. I don't think we could have picked a better room. When staying here, get dinner at Trattoria Tony, not even a block away, one of the best Italian meals I've ever had.

Very good, but as usual when we book an hotel via Hotels .com. We usually get a poor room to start with, then we have to complain about it, before getting a better room. This is what we had to do at this hotel, otherwise its a very nice friendly hotel.

The entrance to the Metropolitan is impressive. From then on, however, the hotel disappoints. Breakfast tries too hard to be modern and stylish when what is really needed is a little more space. There is a huge tidemark as you venture upstairs and the decor, upkeep and comfort of the rooms is hugely disappointing. And there's no air-conditioning.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Bologna. It is clean, modern and very close to the Piazza Maggiore and fabulous restaurants. Very friendly staff that are on call 24 hrs/day. We had a "superior room" and found it very spacious, especially for European hotel room standards. The only thing is there was major construction happening next […] door that began at 7am, so sleeping in was not an option. Conveniently situated halfway between the station and the main square, only metres from the aerobus stop to and from the airport, and near some excellent restaurants (eg Diana and Da Pietro) the Metropolitan proved an ideal base for sightseeing. The main problem was finding it in a small alley not named on many maps (print out the map on the hotel's […] web-site or one from Google before you go). The public areas of the hotel are smart and modern, and the staff helpful. My (excellent value) room was attractive and well-equipped, but not spacious as the large bed took up most of the floor space; this was fine for me but two people would have been falling over each other. The hotel is in a very convenient and central location with an airport bus stop just on the other side of the road, which is ideal. The location is great for shopping, eating and sightseeing. 3日間滞在したが、初日は部屋の四隅にほこりが舞っていたり、備え付けのポットもほこりがかぶっていて驚いた。しかし、翌日スタッフに話したら、驚いて謝ってくれて、その日はきれいに掃除されていてホッとしました。理由は、掃除してからしばらく使用していなかった部屋をそのままチェックインさせてしまったとのこと。スタッフはこちらの質問にも丁寧に答えてくれて親切です。部屋の一件はあったが、その後の対応を考えると、価格や立地の面からいっても良いホテルだと思います。ただし、部屋の感じはホームページの写真とは違うので、泊まる場合はあの写真は良く撮れていると思って行くのを進めます。

This hotel i perfectly located a few meters from Via dell'Independeza in the middle of the old city. 10 min walk from the train staion where the airport shuttle bus stops. 二週間滞在しましたが本当に快適に過ごすことが出来ました。部屋は清潔でスタッフの方達はとてもフレンドリーで困ったことがあった時も親身になってくれて助かりました。立地条件も最高です。荷物を置きに寄ったり駅にも近いし便利でした。コストパフォーマンスもとてもいいと思います。次回ボローニャに来た時はぜひまたメトロポリタンホテルに滞在したいとおもってます。

Hotel accogliente e ben ristrutturato. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Noi siamo una famiglia con due bambini piccoli ed hanno soddisfatto ogni esigenza (lettino, richieste specifiche x la colazione...). Atmosfera familiare perchè non ci sono moltissime stanze. La nostra era una tripla abbastanza spaziosa con tv a schermo piatto e canali […] SKY. L'unico appunto che mi sentirei di fare è che la pulizia non era il massimo.
