Vox Restaurant - serving two styles of cuisine at Iceland's first-ever five-star restaurant. On one side of the open-plan VOX, there's a gourmet menu that is the talk of the town, mixing local favorites and international flavors. On the other, more informal, bistro style creations with an Icelandic twist. Both halves share a fantastic wine list to match the fabulous food.
Laugardalur, the outdoor activity park, is located one kilometre from the hotel and also houses a swimming pool.

"Location of hotel"
I was very disappointed with our stay at the Hilton Reykjavik Nordica. We stopped in Iceland after a 2 week tour of Europe on our way back to New York. I thought the hotel did not meet Hilton standards. The rooms were tiny. I felt like I was in a tiny cruise ship cabin with an even smaller bathroom. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Reykjavik […] in an industrial area with very little nightlife or restaurants. While the hotel does provide very limited shuttle bus service to downtown the shuttle schedule leaves a lot to be desired. The first shuttle leaves at 10:00 AM with no shuttle service between noon and 6:00 PM. The hotel advertises that they have a spa on premesis. However the spa hours are not convenient. We complained at the front desk and were told that the spa, while on the grounds of the Hilton, the hotel did not control the operating hours of the spa. If I were ever to return to Iceland, I would not stay at the Hilton but would opt for a hotel that is closer to the downtown area where I could walk to all of the shops and restaurants and not have to rely upon an almost non-existent shuttle service. For a 5 star hotel this fell well short by international standards. The room was excellent, large and nicely furnished. "Fint hotell."
Hotellet var bra, men dessverre fikk vi ikkerom med utsikt over vannet, men over en parkeringsplass. Rommet var stortog rent med bra møblering, der var safe og vannkoker. Stor parkeringsplass. "KNØTTSMÅ ROM TIL DYR PRIS"
Restauranten Vox er verdt et besøk. Gourmetmat i klasse. Svært hyggelige folk som gjør alt for deg. Men noen ganger litt tregt å vente på hovedretten. Likevel helt topp!! Rommene bærer preg av at det er et forretningsfolk som overnatter en natt. Et enormt lite bad, slik at man nesten ikke kan snu seg. Enormt lite rom og senga helt klint inn i vinduet […] uten nattbord på den siden. Stille, for den som har trøbbel med nattesøvn, men til gjengjeld utsikt til en diger parkeringsplass. På andre siden støy, men da har man vakker utsikt til fjellene!! Litt langt fra sentrum. Til den prisen er man jo vant til å få digre rom og supert bad. Vi kommer nok ikke til å velge Hilton igjen.
