Staff was the strongest asset to Portee. Very welcoming, helpful and accomodating. Room was tiny, and shower built for an anorexic as no normal sized adult could fit. Neighborhood a little "sketchy" with some seedy bars and several adult book stores nearby. "Waterford B & B"
Our family stayed here one night during our trip to Ireland. Our room was comfortable but it had large windows which would not close properly and it got very chilly. The surrounding area was not the nicest, and there was a fire escape right out the window so it made us a bit nervous. Note - no shampoo or soap was provided for the shower so come prepared.
