This was a nice hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was a good size and was very comfortable. Location wise it... was fine, only about a 5 - 10 minutes stroll into the city centre. Parking is very limited in the hotel car-park, although you can also park in a high-rise car-park across the road for €3, so it's not too bad. the hotel is nice not a 4star though.parking is a joke u need to be early as there is only parking for about 40 cars to the 91 room??.saying tat the staff are very good and is within easy walking distance of thing to do and its very well run

The Fitzwilton Hotel is an okay hotel - but based on price relative to other hotels nearby and 4-star rating, it is very disappointing. Rooms were sweltering hot even on a cool October evening with radiator off, which meant leaving window open, which was not ideal when overlooking a very busy and noisy road. There was no fridge even to keep some cold […] water close at hand. The car-park is very small, with very tight spaces - we were lucky to get a space at all, even early in the day. Perhaps not the most thrilling views from the hotel rooms, but a great spot in Waterford to start from. Friendly staff, and food from the restaurant was really great!
