"River view"
The hotel had a lovely view of the river and part of the city. It was an easy walk into the city from the hotel. The room was a good size and and the layout was designed to make you look at the lovely river view. Parking was handy to the hotel and easy to find.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"good value weekend break"

"Central to everything you need."
We only stayed one night but we loved it and it certainly left us wanting to go back again for an even longer romantic getaway!,The staff, room ,leisure centre, food, atmosphere, were superb and the only slight and I mean only slight annoyance was that our check in time was delayed by two hrs due to man city being there which actually turned out to […] create a real good buzz of excitement and in apologies to us they offered us a late check out of 3pm which was greatly appreciated and the staff member s name was Declan who I thought was so nice and looked after us well,we didnt know Limerick, he told us the area to go and called us a taxi which arrived in no-less then five mins, we really did feel made welcome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as it really does offer an excellent service of making you feel welcome and the standard is just fabulous. "Wonderful views"
Easy to reach from Shannon airport, just 20minutes drive. We have stayed here on a number of occasions and found the hotel staff friendly and helpful, clean and tidy. The hotel is on the edge of the river and the 'city' centre, and has a working docks next door, but do not let this put you off. A stop-off at Dolans, just three minutes walk away, is […] a must! "Clarion Hotel Limerick"
Booked a Deulxe room I believe,not sure because it didnt seem too deluxe. The view was stunning however the room itself was not up to the standard I would have expected, also the letters and room numbering missing along the dirty corridor did not give a four star vibe.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
On checking in we found the girl behind the desk to be very polite and helpful.we then went up to our allocated room only to find another couple in it as you can imagine this was a very embarrassing situation.we returned to reception and the person we dealt with was quite rude,the practically accused us of going to the wrong room.he went on to check […] the computer and told us this was the room we were booked into.he then rang the couple in the room and suggested to them that they move to the room number they should have been in. I informed him we this would not be acceptable as this couple had been on the bed and used the room it would make you consider what they consider cleanliness to be not saying anything about the other couple but it is not best practice to suggest we just swap rooms,i have to say we were appalled by this not to mention that both check in clerks thought it was hilarious and were sniggering behind the desk not what one would expect from a four star hotel!!!!! Stayed in the hotel on the 29th May, booked the room through hotel.com but then contacted the hotel directly - they were extremely helpful and allowed me to avail of the deluxe upgrade which included most importantly a late check out. They also accomodated my request for a smoking room without any hassle. The room itself was extremely comfortable and […] added so much to the our overall enjoyment - it was really clean, bright and airy. The view from the bed was of Thomond Park but when standing you could see the length of the River Shannon. Room service was prompt from the bar.
