I stayed at Amber Hill with friends on their first visit to Ireland. We were all very impressed by the standard of accommodation , the service was excellent and I would have no hesitation in recomending it as an overnight stay or a base for a longer stay in the city.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Ei mikään persoonallinnen B&B. Tapasimme omistajan kahdesti, kun hän päästi meidät sisään ja kun maksoimme. Aamiainen ei sisälly perushintaan, mutta on kyllä halpa. Keskustaan hyvä bussiyhteys aika läheltä. Rantabulevardille vain kilometrin kävely. Nettes B&B (etwas ungewohnt, aber typisch britisch die eine große Decke für zwei ;-), saubere Zimmer, großer, gemütlicher Aufenthaltsraum mit freiem Internetzugang und Kaffeemaschine (auch große Auswahl an Tees...) Nettes Personal. Toast und Cornflakes im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen, großes Frühstück gibt's gegen geringen Aufpreis im Haus nebenan. Zwei […] große Supermärkte / Einkaufszentren in der Nähe (ca. 15 min zu Fuß). Zum Meer sind's auch etwa 15 min zu Fuß (bergab); ins Stadtzentrum am Meer entlang dauert es dann aber schon eine Stunde - allerdings ein sehr schöner Spaziergang... Ein echtes gemütliches Pub in Fußreichweite haben wir zwar nicht gefunden, aber es gibt einen 'Taxideal' vom Haus und Bushaltestellen gibt es auch quasi gleich vor der Haustür.
