"nice trip but with one or two exceptions"
stayed in the pillo as my partner and I were booked for a gig in Galway, hotel was fantastic and immaculate. However the only thing I will say is we were charged an astronomical price for something small to eat and two drinks to be brought to our room, as we were rushing the following morning to make it home for Christmas I didn't have time to pose […] the question to the receptionist, whom i may add was extremely helpful. The only other thing I will add is that we were ready to head down to check out for half 11 when the same porter who dropped up our food the previous night barged in the door, thinking there was nobody in there... which may have been possible as we had only changed the room from non smoking to smoking the evening beforehand. "Great Hotel"
I chose Pillo as a friend had stayed there previously and it is handy to get to from the Dublin road. The staff were lovely, the parking is free and the breakfast is realy good quality food. The room was clean with a comfy bed and great shower. If I need to stay in Galway again and am driving down I would stay here definitely.
