Overall great. You MUST stay here if you're flying in late or flying out early. The only negative was that our flight was early and the receptionist... stated there was a small complimentary continental breakfast from 4-7am. At 6am there was 5 stale tiny pastries and a whole bunch of garbage on the "breakfast table" which was about 1 foot wide. This is the most convenient hotel for morning departures from Shannon Airport. The rooms are nice and the staff is very attentive.

The hotel has no lift. We had to carry 2 large bags and carry-ons up 3 flights of stairs. There was 1 towel in the bathroom and only a 1/2 roll of toilet paper. Wallpaper was pealing off the walls and the bathroom grout was moldy. Thank god it was only for a night.

Friendly staff, VERY convenient for people who are flying out early the next morning, as the hotel is less than a one minute walk, literally across the street, from the airport. Dinner in the evening was good. Staff friendly. BUT: Imagine my dismay when, at 5:45 the next morning, as I was preparing for a long travel day (back to the US), I realised […] there was no COLD water in the shower. The shower control was some how defective, and all I could get was scalding hot water. Needless to say, I could not shower! I had to "make do" with the sink... Not very effective or convenient. Then, the hair dryer in the room was old and icky and didn't work well.. It seemed as if it was all gummed up and had trouble getting going. But the beds were comfortable enough, the room spacious, and, as I said above, the location can't be beat for travellers in and out of Shannon. Read more
