"fab weekend ."
This was my 3rd stay at the grand in as many months. Yet again the staff were fabulous considering the hotel was fully booked for the rock and roll event. I have no complaints at all, and will be going back in december.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

as this was my second time in as many weeks at the grand hotel,i knew what to expect, that's why i went back. The staff were again well manered and fualtless. Ok the hotel is a little dated, but people who read the reviews before booking and now have the nerve to complain are a sad bunch.I also noticed that alot of complaints are from the irish people […] themselves, what happened to the faithful. "Great food"
The staff were super friendly. The food in the dinning room was amazing. The location has a great view of the sea. It is a very old building that is showing it's age a bit. However, it is clean and the staff and food more than make up for it.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Getting fobbed off"
When I arrived at the hotel, and I know this hotel well because I actually live not too far away, I asked about the Complimentary Newspaper which was quoted in my reservation.....they told me they didn't do this and then tried to give me a local FREE newspaper which was actually 2 weeks out of date!!! Eventually this was resolved, but I just feel that […] as I had booked through Hotels.Com, they thought that I might have been from abroad and therefore tried to opt out of the provision of the newspaper. "Grand Hotel, Tramore"
Had no major issues with the hotel or the service that they provide. The decor and furnishings leave a lot to be desired, but this did not detract from my stay.
