We knowingly selected this hotel for its proximity to the Temple Bar area. Despite being in the midst of the action, it was plenty quiet on the top floor. I spent three nights here over Thanksgiving. The location is great - very central but with the location comes weekend noise (no fault of the hotel). The chair in my room was ripped but otherwise clean room. The king bed was two twins that had a tendency to drift. Staff was very friendly and we had a great time. The hotel was clean and quite adequate as it met our expectations. The Morgan is in a great location, on Fleet Street in Temple Bar. Be aware if you are staying on a weekend that Temple Bar gets pretty loud (so if you have trouble sleeping, better to seek accommodations away from Temple Bar).

you don't get much better location than this- walk to temple bar- all sights- stop for hop on/hop off bus..and only a 7 euro taxi from the train station! hip/cool hotel with a great youthful vibe..only improvement could have been condition of the carpets in the rooms..otherwise bedding, towels, bathrooms, furniture all clean and nice!

If you're looking for a quiet, secluded getaway then this is not the place for you. Temple Bar has a lot going on which makes it great for finding places to eat and drink, and a lot of great sights are within easy walking distance. But there are people our eating and drinking to all hours, so keep that in mind.

The hotel bar turns into a nightclub at night. In addition to loud music, there were drunk loud people roaming the halls early in the morning. While the rooms weren't bad and the staff was very friendly, the loud noise made it very difficult to sleep and be comfortable.

The Morgan is right in the middle of Temple Bar and a short walk to Trinity College, Grafton Street, the O'Connell Street Bridge, and tons of other sites in the middle of the city. Just be warned that the Morgan is also home to one of the only real nightclubs in Dublin. When the traditional Irish pubs are closing down, the Morgan is still going. The […] Morgan Bar takes over the lobby as well and the sound will travel up to your third floor room. Plan on hanging out at the Morgan Bar until it closes down at 2:30am or make sure you bring some earplugs. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. In the early morning hours when not a single cafe was open, someone at the Morgan would appear with much needed coffee. I didn't like my room - the too small bathroom was constantly flooded from the shower. The staff moved me to a different room for the rest of my stay and everything in the new room was just great. We chose to stay at the Morgan because of its location. We wanted to be able to walk to all the sites, and the Morgan's location allowed us to do so. The biggest downfall is that they've got no parking available - but we knew this upfront. Parking across the street in the ramp was a little steep, but I guess that's the going rate. We were traveling […] with another couple and although we booked the same room category at the same price, our rooms were DRASTICALLY different. Theirs was about twice the size. We stayed for a week at The Morgan for my 50th birthday and had a lovely time. We were greeted happily by a professional front desk staff who had our names and offered an upgrade as a birthday gift! We had great service when they brought up a couple of tubs of ice for our champagne directly from the kitchen/bar area, and room service was always prompt […] and with a smile! The hotel is fun and funky with the most modern elements of design and style. They had an array of music, tv, or movie choices, and you were able to have your own voicemail system on your room phone. The food in the bar is quite delicious and very modestly priced. The breakfast in the morning was great and the bar at night was fun! The only things negative were that the guest before us broke a bulb off inside the lamp beside the bed which never got fixed while we were there, and 2 nights the crowds in the alley beneath our windows were rowdy and loud until 4 in the morning due to some famous musicians at the Hard Rock Cafe next door, and one night the bar downstairs was celebrating the Toast to Arthur Guiness until very wee hours in the morning as well.....however, this hotel is smack dab in the middle of Temple Bar, so we expected this. Some great things were....The bathtub was deep and great for soaking, and big enough for 2! The housekeeping always brought new towels and shampoos each day.....the hotel is very safe and really watch at the front door for any unwanted visitors. This was our second time at The Morgan & although we have encountered a few snags , so to speak ( in November , we had 2 strangers walking about our bedroom at 2am as the locking system / key card was obsolete and we were above the disco . In March , our room safe had to be replaced . On both times I spoke to reception they couldn't have been more professional […] , on both occasions offering room change ! Wasn't necessary as all we wanted was a change of lock & safe . We're so courteous & helpful , we tend not to make a mountain out of a molehill anyhow . Out of courtesy we were shown the penthouse and PROMISED huge discount should we wish to book it . We also received complimentary drinks . Hotel interior was lovely. All staff clearly been trained in customer service and all smiling and greeting wherever you go. Rooms were very modern and lovely bar with club music. My only complaint would be that we were on the first floor and i think i did ask for a quiet room (well as quiet as could be in Dublin city!!) so think we might have fared […] better higher up as we were over the bar. Beds were a little small and basic. Room itself was adequate size. TV and interactive facilities are dated and could do with upgrading. Having said that, the service was top notch and you can't beat the location for a weekend in Dublin - its also next door to Palace bar which has best Guinness in Dublin! I would recommend and stay again myself.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times. Staff area always helpful. the room on my last stay was very noisey, the noise was mainly coming from the smoking area for the hotel. I would stay here again, i find the location for the city, proximity to car parking and the overall qualities a major plus.
