The exterior of the hotel could do with a bit of face-lift, however the interior of the hotel is spotlessly clean and whilst the room and in particular the bathroom was small it was more than adequate for a sightseeing break. The hotel is very close to all the sights of Budapest and we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The continental […] breakfast was very good and there is someone to cook your eggs for you, which is nice. There is no facility to make tea or coffee in the rooms, however, the dining room is available all day where you can make tea and coffee. There is no bar in the hotel but the rooms have a mini bar. The hotel staff were very friendly and pleasant and had good English. All in all this hotel is great value for money and whilst it is not a luxury hotel it is a great base for seeing Budapest. I really can't fault the room, which was comfortable and spacious, or the breakfast which had choices for all tastes, but the location in Buda isn't ideal. There are bus and tram lines close by, but only two or three restaurants and those at the expensive end, and few shops south of the chain bridge. "Ett bra hotel i ett lungt område anbefales"
Hotellet låg en liten bit från centrum. Man fick gå över Elisabeth bron men detta passa oss väl. Ingen större utsikt vilket många kan önska sig. Det var lungt och stilla från trafiken. En mycket trevlig personal som hela tiden var behjälplig. Frukostmatsalen var i minste laget då vissa gäster fick vänta på tur. Detta har lite med att anpassa sin tid […] när man äter frukost. Vi hade tur varje morgon men ett fåtal gäster fick vänta på tur. Bra frukost med dem flesta tillbehör som behövs, Stekta egg kunde man få varje morgon men man måste sega till. För oss två tyckte vi detta hotell var helt perfekt då vi varje morgon fick röra lite på kroppen. Kort väg till sevärdheter i närhet samt kort väg till bad om så önskades. En restaurang och bar i närheten gjorde att man aldrig behövde gå långt för att däcka dessa behov. Där serverades bra mat till vettiga priser. Tycker man inte om att gå anbefaller jag ett hotell på andra sedan av bron nära centrum. Vi själva kommer att besöka detta hotell igen, detta mest med tanke på den trevliga personalen och det lung det var i detta kvarter. Samt att man fick en bra frukost väldig lik den vi har hemma i Sverige. Tar man och bokar upp sig på bussturerna som går till alla sevärdheter , har man endast 300 meter till närmsta hållplats från Hotellets utgångsdörr till vänster. Vår resa var mycket bra och vi hade 4 trevliga dagar i Buddhapest. Vårat rum var rent och snyggt med en liten minibar och TV. Dubbelsäng. Har bara positiva saker och sega om detta hotell. Vi er meget godt fornøyd med hotellet - dets nærhet til slottsområdet, Fishermans Bastion og alle broene. Trikkeholdeplass ca 200 meter fra hotellet. Hotel BW Orion er et hyggeligt lille hotel, lidt trist at se på ude fra, men pænt og rent indendørs. Personalet var venlige og serviceminded. Værelset medium i størrelse med et mindre, men velfungerende badeværelse. OK morgenmad med lidt valgmuligheder og mulighed for forskellige ægtyper. Hotellet er placeret godt, tæt på Donau, så byen kan udforskes […] på gåben, ellers er der sporvogn meget tæt på og et godt transportsystem. Byen er smuk og der er meget at se. En god restaurant, der kan anbefales, ligger lige ved siden af hotellet , hedder Tabani Teresz, skøn ungarsk mad til rimelig penge, hyggelig indretning og god betjening, og et ekstra plus, at der er et par stuer til ikke-rygere. Ett prisvärt och familjärt hotell. Hotellet ligger på Buda-sidan och det är promenadavstånd till många sevärdheter och bra restauranger. Det är nära buss och spårvagn och det tar bara ca 10-15 minuter att gå över bron till Pest-sidan. Personalen på hotellet pratar hyfsat engelska och kan bistå med goda tips och hjälp. Frukosten håller väl inte svensk […] standard, men ändå helt okey. Man kan äta sig mätt! Vi valde att betala något extra för ett bättre rum och det var det väl värt. Het hotel had alles wat we verwacht hadden. Rustige locatie in Buda, tramhalte voor de deur, zeer lekker ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel, goede kamer voor weinig geld.
