"Thermal waters in hotel"
I wouldn't rate this hotel 5 stars, it is probably 3 1/2. The rooms were comfortable but smelled like cigarette. The bed was hardly a full size and the bathroom was rather small. Breakfast was about 10 euros pp and was really good. Parking was about 17 euros pday.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Major failure"
I think a five star hotel can't afford to give out a strictly non-smoking room which stinks of penetrating cigarette smoke. It came from the furniture and from the walls (the bed lining and the towels smelled good) - I suspect they used this room as a smoking room for years. This is a major failure which prevents me to give five or even a four star […] rating... It's a real shame. I am a 25 year Captain for a major airline and I travel the world and see many nice hotels. I traveled to Budapest on a personal holiday. I am here to say that this hotel has it all--Thermal water spa-- free breakfast and drinks (on executive plan) Quiet clean room, and close to Margarate Island (great jogging path) Bus /train service within 100 meters […] of the hotel provide quick access all over town. I suggest an all day or all week bus pass to see the city. I will stay there again. If you are afraid to use the bus then stay at a downtown hotel and pay 3 times more. The bus is so easy. Hotel has many 5 star features ... but there were things that let it down. The spa / pools were closed for some of our stay. No towels in rooms for two of the days ..laundry problem. Stayed here when visiting friends and myself and girlfriend could not fault anything with the hotel. Reception staff were very friendly and check in/out was very quick. Bar staff also very friendly and very reasonably priced in comparison to other hotels I have stayed in. The only downside was the air conditioning unit not working and the heating in the room was too hot but as it was winter, opening the window solved this. Would definitely recommend the hotel and when I am back in Budapest this is where I will be staying. Hotel is a little way out of town but there are lots of travel options very close to hotel. I personally walked everywhere, it takes 40 minutes to walk to the main centre of Budapest.
