On the southern tip of the Istrian peninsular, this port town’s Roman monuments include the imposing Arena, a first-century amphitheatre hosting summer concerts and an annual film festival. "Renovation needed"
We stayed here in august 2011. This could have been a very nice and comfortable place to stay, but it really needs renovation. Both the apartments and certainly most the area around is really in need of a renewal. You need to have a car, because it's far from the town center. The beds are very hard, there is little kitchen equipment and our apartment […] could have had a sea view if the trees were not so overgrown. A gardener could have done a lot with the whole area.
