Our favorite stay...great hosts...great food....clever bar....barges gliding slowly by.. right outside the windows.......ducks gathering outside the restaurant windows...very close to train station...you do not even have to cross a major street to get to the barge. The Hotel located on the Canal was far enough out of town for peace and quiet but close enough for a 10 - 15 minute walk to the centre of town. The staff were very welcoming, especially the restaurant staff. The food was very good. The Hotel made our holiday. Will definately go again.

Excellent accommodation. The location of this hotel is great, 5 minutes walk from the staion and only 10 minutes walk into the centre. Da Barge is a 22-room hotel based on a converted ship which previously used to work on this same waterway. Our room was not cramped but the limitations of the vessel's layout mean that you should be prepared for it to be compact. Bådhotellet er charmerende og hyggeligt. Personalet er meget hjælpsomt og venligt. Beliggenheden i forhold til Brügges centrum er perfekt. Går man gennem parken, der ligger tæt ved hotellet, tager det 10 - 15 minutter at nå til centrum - på cykel 5 minutter. Vi spiste på båden den første aften, og var begge tilfredse med maden.

Pour accéder au centre historique, on n'a que 5 à 8 minutes de traversée d'un parc à pied. Proche aussi de la gare, pour peu qu'on ne soit pas trop chargé, sinon, 4 à 5 euros de taxi. Das Hotel fanden wir ausgesprochen hübsch und sympatisch eingerichtet , alle waren sehr freundlich , es liegt günstig zum Brügge Spatziergang in der Nähe des Zentrums , leider an der Schnellstrasse und gegenüber einem Parkplatz , Zimmer am beten zum Wasser gelegen buchen.
