"There is something for Lhotel to work on..."
Hi, if you have a cold season then WHY not to make HEATING MODE available in the aircond in the room? It has COOLING, VENTILATION but no HEATING. This is -35C in a place I live now but I managed to get cold just a week ago having +15C outside and +18C in room in your hotel in HK just a week ago! Your location is sweet relatively to awesome shuttle […] bus service and very clean environment but this is industrial area still, so why not to host a couple of ATM's and convenient store like 7-eleven in your building? MTN is going to open their stations around in two years only, so you have to fill up your rooms somehow, yeah? And yeah I know that life and everything is expensive in HK, so hotels are... and I also know this is normal to vary the price for rooms relatively to the market demand, i.e. it might be higher for the high season. Kind of norm but, I am disagreed this is ok to have same room for the 2.5 price difference within one week time frame and for the single customer just because it is covering the New Year date. I don't really care how common is that but this is an example of very bad marketing. Not essential but sort of normal to expect some freebies while living in hotel during the holidays. Not a word from the hotel staff, no TV in the world-most common languages. If someone would ask me to rate staff separately, there should be cleaners nominated for bonus, all receptionists putted to training but tall guy from P4 should be hotel manager, that is for sure. "Noce, but remote location"
Very nice for the money, but very remote in an industrial area that requires taxi rides to get anywhere. The shuttle was overloaded so that did cost a lot of time and if you dont what to spend an hour just to get to central station, you need to spend a $30 cab ride.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Stayed for 4 nights recently at the L Hotel Island South. I as on a sightseeing visit. The hotel was reasonably priced. The room was nice, plenty of room, clean, etc. However the location is not very good. There is nothing in the vicinity of the hotel. No convenience store, restaurants, nothing. "Very much a four star operation"
A cool hotel with plenty of wow-factor, but it's very much a four star operation. The room was stylish, with a beautiful parquet floor and a big window to the bathroom with a venetian blind. Despite there being a control panel in the room, the air-con is centrally controlled and blasting out 18C air. The staff simply apologised and gave me a heater! The […] dinner buffet was excellent although the staff were stretched, but the breakfast buffet was no great shakes. There were two coffee machines both out of action and lukewarm tea. Apart from the ubiquitous apples and bananas, there is a poor selection of prepared fruit. You will probably get either water melon OR breadfruit. I never saw more than one variety available at the same time. There is a MASSIVE building site across the road and they are only at the groundwork stage. "Twin or triple??"
We booked a twin and were put in a room with a camp style bed jammed into the corner so making it a triple and also meaning we had no room to move in the room at all. The room was very clean and the linen was lovely. The beds were very hard and although this wasn't so much a problem for me, it could be for others. When we checked in, there was a man on the phone behind the check in and he completely ignored us for at least 10 minutes before he finally called a colleague to check us in. We waited for at least 10 minutes again while she fussed over something and when asked f there was a problem, she just said 'no' and gave no explanation. It is a very sterile feeling place and as we only needed a room to sleep in, we weren't so bothered, but if we were there for several days, I would choose somewhere more central and with a better feel to it. "Great Hotel, challenging location"
This is a superb hotel, but we weren't prepared for the disadvantages of its location - basically in an industrial area out of Aberdeen (the HKTB tourist maps don't really show the area, and hence didn't identify just how far out of Aberdeen it is). Walking anywhere except Ocean Park isn't practical (well, not in 32 deg heat), and bus is the only feasible […] transport except for taxi. But the bus stops are close by, and it was OK once we learnt the system. I think that the hotel could make things more attractive by preparing a one-pager on the buses stopping outside; eg, the ID numbers of buses to/from Central, Aberdeen, Stanley, etc, and the walking route to Ocean Park (it's not immediately obvious, requiring the use of two overpasses). There are no eating places in walking distance, so its either bus to somewhere or eat in the hotel, where the restaurant is excellent but pricey. It's remoted and beaware the shuttle bus service doesn't run frequently, esp during morning rush hrs. It takes 35mins to IFC. Taxi seldom goes up so better call instead of waiting. "香港海洋公园附近的南湾海景酒店"
机场快线香港站L2停车场最后一个等候区就可以等到酒店的shuttle bus 事先最好问过酒店班车时间,有时是半小时,有时是间隔一小时 第二天到海洋公园,准备搭9点30那班的shuttle bus 被告知只有四人座位了,(我们同行有四大二小 两个五岁多点的孩子)一定不肯让孩子坐大人身上解决问题,司机建议坐下班车,问及下班车的发车时间 ,居然是一个小时之后的10:30(其实我们事先也看过时间表) 如我们不再追问下班车时间,估计司机也不会主动告知;再咨询司机还有什么方法可以去海洋公园(因两个爸爸必须和我们分开,另找途径去海洋公园),被告知:打的啦! 恕不知我们又已事先知道,坐公交车仅一站路就到,即使步行也10多分钟可以到达目的地. 不知如何理解??本以为香港是非常规矩的地方,但上车后发现有两个到 […] 三个孩子比我们的还大,却是坐大人的身上.酒店比较新,但服务态度服务质量不令人满意.下次不会再考虑了.
