This new hotel is clean with modern decor, good service and even with harbor view. I guess the reason for the lower rate compare to other hotels is the location. The area is surrounded by small business mainly catering to the local, less ideal for the tourist.

I had reserved a regular room with a low rate, but upon arrival I was upgraded to a very large one bedroom corner suite with a kitchenette and breathtaking view! The west side of the hotel rooms provide a great view over the center of the Victoria Harbor between Hong Kong island and Kowloon. All the facilities and services worked great at the Harbour Grand. We were however disappointed to find that the pool was closed for renovation since that was one of the deciding factors when choosing the hotel. Also at this room rate we expected free internet access.

The hotel is in a residential area which is good for dining variety at different price level. It is only a couple of train stops from the main tourist areas such as Causeway Bay and Central. The customer service level is excellent.

Really nice hotel with excellent view of the harbour. rooms nicely decorated and comfortable beds with an amazing choice of pillows if you contact house keeping. Hotel is only a few minutes walk from Fortress Hill but not detailed enough on the website.

The hotel concierge did not retrieve all luggages from the taxi that had taken us from the airport. But they were very quick in recovering them. The staff are courteous and helpful. Perhaps some of them should know a bit more about what eateries are available nearby the hotel.

Have stayed here before. Views of the harbour and HK Central plus Kowloon are great! Just wish the window was a bit bigger. Staff are all very friendly. Rooms extremely comfortable and well-appointed. Has become quite popular as a wedding venue in HK (there were 2 when I checked in). Only downside is that the popularity with wedding parties renders […] some of the amenities (ex.: Lobby Lounge) off limits to general guests for a period of time. Rooms, as well, may not ready before 3pm, so be aware if you arrive early (this happened to me last year, though was able to leave my luggage with the concierge). Close walk to the Fortress Hill MTR station and served by direct Airport Express bus which seemed to operate more frequently than others to the Causeway Bay/Fortress Hill district. Read more

lovely hotel. Breakfast options quite expensive. Shuttle service was good and punctual. Charges for Wi-fi excessive. Unfortunately the pool was being renovated and unable to be used during our stay. We were offered use of a pool in a sister hotel but this was inconvenient as it involved a taxi ride to and fro.

We can thoroughly recommend an upgraded to the Harbour Club. The additional cost is more than compensated for by the benefits available in the dedicated lounge; free wifi, breakfast, complimentary drinks (including beer and wine!) and snacks during the afternoon and evening as well as very friendly and helpful staff. Helpful polite staff at all levels earn its 5stars BUT greedy internet charge. Buffet breakfast Christmas Morning served in a chilly room. I have had better sausages & bacon in meaner establishments. The Harbour Grand Hong Kong (not the Harbour Grand Kowloon) is situated at North Point, and so is not in the best position if you want to be near the Star Ferry etc. Although the MTR tube system is very good and cheap so it is possible to get around if you want. We upgraded to a bigger room with a large window facing the harbour. Ok hotel a little out of the way but close to the MTR station. Got a room on the 12th floor and the noise of the highway was omnipresent. Internet fee at 18usd is an inconvenience when many hotel offer it for free.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Harbour Grand Hong Kong. The location of the hotel is very convenient to the nearest metro station (Forest Hill) three short blocks away, but it is rather unusually situated immediately next to a number of automotive repair shops and garages. That wasn't a big issue, but it did seem a bit odd for a hotel of this […] calibre. Once at the hotel, however, the lobby and other common spaces are quite impressive, and our room, while a bit on the small side, was very nicely appointed and had a super view of the harbour. We received pleasant and helpful assistance from the concierge with restaurant bookings and with directions to an internet cafe. We enjoyed many activities in Hong Kong, and would recommend some time at the markets (the ladies market and the flower market were our highlights), Lantau Island and the community of Stanley.
