I arrived around midnight. I had a problem on getting to my room when I had problems finding light switches and I couldn't get the hotel's adapter to work to charge my laptop. Also the phone was switched off and in the dark I couldn't find where to switch it on. So I had to go down to reception again, the front desk staff said they'd send someone. No-one […] came for about 15 minutes and it took 2 more requests by which time I was getting angry. Finally a helpful staff member came and sorted things out - it was my unfamiliarity with the fittings that was the problem but even so I shouldn't have had to wait that long. My husband I were in Hong Kong for ART HK 10, which was held at the Convention Center. The Novotel Century's location in Wanchai was perfect. We could walk to the convention center easily (10 minutes) or take taxis, which were convenient to flag right outside the hotel. The staff at the hotel were also kind to help flag taxis for us.
