The hotel service was good, the maid who cleaned our room was very polite. The only thing that I didn't like was the room, it was extremely small.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"a small hotel with everything in it."
it's one of the busiest hotel I ever stayed. probably because of the convenient location and the reasonable rates. Rooms are very small but very smartly designed, it's perfect for one person.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The location is excellent, very close to bus stop for airport shuttle, and other public transportation. The place seems newly renovated and clean. The room is small , but clean, quiet and with good AC. The staff is generally nice. Quality of service is generally ok.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fair Value for Hong Kong"
The hotel was fine and convenient. The shuttle to the Kowloon airport station doesn't start unitl 8:00 a.m but a taxi ride is only 20 HK$. Close to the night market and not too far from the subway station. Internet surcharge was $30 HK for one hour. Staff was friendly and helpful. Small room was clean and comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small and clean"
The room was very small, but not as small as another hotel in Kowloon I stayed at. The shower was small, but big enough to use. I had to leave the hotel at 5 am to go to the airport (before the subway opens) and there was a cab waiting there outside the hotel. Within a block I saw several other available cabs, so you should have no problem getting one […] in the early hours. It is right next to the jade market, so there is plenty to do in the evenings nearby. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Hotel for Price"
The Dorsett is a good hotel... if you can get a good price. The hotel is well located, looks good, is clean (newly renovated) and well maintained. The only issue is: the room is tiny. Tiny. So the Dorsett is great if the price is low. But if the price is not low, then you should find another hotel with larger rooms... which may be difficult in East […] Asia, where the rooms generally are small. "Nice hotel for stay in Hong Kong"
If you are the kind of traveler that would rather spend their hard earned money on adventures instead of high end pricey hotel rooms than this may be the place for you. However, if having a large room with a huge bathroom is high on your list you better go make your reservation at the McHilton. This place is close to Temple Street market and the Ladies […] Market. Walk to the MTR or even the M-21 bus to the airport on Nathan Road. The room was super clean. Bad part: like every hotel in China you have top listen to those stupid door lock alarms from everyone on your floor coming and going. Also, in Asia no matter what time it is people communicate by yelling at eachother as loud as they can so you get to enjoy that while you are trying to sleep as well. If this hotel could charge for the air you breath while staying there they would. The wi-fi signal was available but it was pricey in 30 minute increments. For a nice breakfast I suggest bypassing the 19th floor here, unless it is included, and walking to the Casa (hotel) cafe down Nathan Road for an awesome $ low hkd breakfast. Get one of those MTR maps that show you all the interesting things to do off the MTR stops. Last, pay a few dollars more for the "delux" room instead of the standard room. The room is small but it is clearn. If they can provide free internet, at least in the lobby, that will be great.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Choice at reasonable price"
Hong Kong rooms are known for being small. This was no exception, but brand new condition and they obviously thought of every way to maximize the usage of the space, without it feeling or looking crammed. High ceilings help, as do the extensive mirrors. Shelving helpful. Excellent shower! Everything worked great. Fabulous location in Yau Ma Tai, 2 […] subway stops north of Kowloon Harbour. I loved this neighborhood because it was where locals live, and the food is overwhelming there, so many restaurants, one third the price of regular Hong Kong Restuarants. Who says you can't get a full dinner in Hong Kong for less than $10, sitting inside even! Temple st night market outside the door almost, nice to stroll. And the bus from the Shenzhen airport stops one half block away. Heading out to HKIA, bus stops 2 blocks away. And on two subway lines. You can't beat it! Mostly Chinese staying at this hotel. A good sign! But staff was fluent in English and very helpful on everything. I was cold in my room, and they immediately sent up an electric heater and an extra blanket. They also wrote down specific dim sum names for me in Chinese so I could order locally. Really nice. Wifi worked fine in the room, but $4 per hour. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Dorsett Seaview Hotel, Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong"
Hotel room small but quite comfortable, clean, and with good amenities. Price good for HK. Close to Temple St. Night Market, Nathan Rd, and Yau Ma Tei subway. Also they change money at hotel and can set up tours. A21 bus stop to airport nearby on Nathan Rd.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent and convenient"
Room was very small but decent enough for the price we paid. Conveniently located and about 5 mins walk to the nearest MTR station. There is also a free shuttle provided by the hotel to Kowloon station, which we can then take the train to the airport. Overall, the 2-night stay was pleasant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Decent hotel in convenient location"
Dorsett Seaview Hotel is located just around the corner to Nathan Road and main Kowloon attractions. Within walking distance to Kowloon station (Airtrain to airport) and Yau Ma Tei station (main HKsubway line) a traveller cannot be wrong with choosing this hotel. The rooms are not extra spacious but for those, who are looking for bed and shower, are […] big and comfortable enough. There could be only two minor comments: there are only two lifts and the hotel has about 20 floors - in rushhours it may take couple of minutes to get from/to your room there is a surcharge for internet access Would book again, recommended. "Dorsett Seaview - convenient and comfortable"
The room was a bit small but very clean and comfortable. Certain things can be improved like refrigerator - not cold at all and I could not plug in my portable DVD player onto the TV as it was totally wall mounted with no outlets. "What do you expect in Hong Kong?"
Well I must say the room IS small I wouldn't deny that, expect half the size of a typical hotel anywhere else. But what do you expect of Hong Kong? "Good location, tiny rooms"
The hotel is in a good location. Lots of good food around the area. Temple street night market is just 10 meters away. The Yau Ma Tei MTR Stn is a 3 mins walk. Do not expect too much as this is a budget hotel after all. The room is tiny and there is no space for big luggage. You will have to leave your big luggage in an up right position. TV channels […] are all in Cantonese and Chinese. The guests are mainly PRC nationals. The bad thing about this hotel is that it got my booking mixed up. "A good location"
This is just next to Mido Cafe - the Tin Hau temple is just across the street. If you want desert, Hui Lau Shan is on the opposite building. There's McDonald and Wellcome nearby. all the markets ie temple st night market, sneakers street, shanghai street (wedding dresses and kitchenware), jade market, gold fish market and flower market are within walking […] distance. There's ample of street food around this area too. The room is small but it's comfy...don't bring too much luggage with you as there might not be enough space...the only bad thing is you could hear your neighbor when they speak in the hallway..all in all a nice place to stay. The hotel shuttle bus is awesome...every hour and brings you to langham place, tsim sha tsui where the terminal to Macau is and all the shopping districts and most importantly to Kowloon mtr that brings you to the airport. "Really convenient and well priced for the location"
If you are on a budget and want to stay in Kowloon, this s the place for you. The rooms are quite small, and the elevator is soul crushingly slow, but apart from that, it is a great place. Situated right near the Temple Street markets and associated eateries, and a 5 minute walk to the Yau Ma Tei MTR station, it was perfect. A jaunt to the New Territories […] or the Island are easy, as is Diamond Hill on the Tung Chung (?) line, as Yau Ma Tei as an interchange. Around the corner from the $33 airport bus stop, life couldn't be better. Definitely would stay there again. The room wa sclean and the one problem we had with the shower not draining properly was handled and fixed in minutes. Literally someone came up and sorted it out for us immediately it was reported. Breakfast is cheap and nice and the view from the dining room is awesome. Not ocean, but Awesome. Recommended highly. "Close proximitiy to popular locations!"
Cleanliness of room was very good. Important thing was the location of the hotel. 5 minutes walk from Yau Ma Tei MTR and within half a minute from the nearest 7-11 and eateries/night market along Temple Street. "Value for Money Hotel at a Mid-Range Neighborhood"
Location is central Kowloon. Far from the shopping and busy streets of Tsim Sha Tsui, though proximate to the bargain mecca streets like Temple. Rooms were small yet the beds are comfortable. "Entirely adequate..."
Cheap compared to many other options in HK/Kowloon. Well located, right off Nathan Road, next to Tin Hau temple and the Temple Street night market. Near the Yau Ma Tei MTR (subway station), which made it fairly easy to get to from the airport. The district, away from the glitzier tourist spots, is safe but well-worn. Service and room were adequate. […] As others have mentioned, the rooms are small. But not that unusual by Asian business hotel standards. They are clean and functional. "Dorsett Seaview, liked it for what it is"
Don't expect luxury, big rooms and fabulous service but if you are there to see the sights, shop at the markets and eat out - and what else would you be in Hong Kong for?, this is a good hotel in Kowloon for the price. Yes the rooms are tiny but I found it clean and quiet with a comfortable bed - and for a day or two stay it is all I wanted. The location […] is fantastic, one street away from Temple St markets and great access to the train system but if you want, a short taxi ride to Mong Kok shopping. They are currently renovating the Lobby area but no inconvenience and it looks like they are nearly finished. Most of the reception staff have a good command of English. If you want a good breakfast don't bother with the Hotel offering, you will find plenty of places in the streets around that provide better and cheaper food. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cosy but too small if you're going for a shopping"
Its just enough for two person per room, cosy.. But, if you are planning for a shopping trip, be forewarn there won't be enough space to put two luggage comfortly, less alone the shopping bags you come back with nightly. Location wise, its quite convenient, but seriously you won't walk to mongkok(where most shoppings are done), you will take the mtr, […] which is some distance away from the hotel. The one bad thing about the room i stayed (1309) was, the aircon blasted as if it's running on cemtralised air con, the coldness was unbearable that we gotta switch on and off the aircon to warm up the place. We were too lazy to asl for a change of room because that means we gotta shift all our luggages amd shopping bags here and there. Beside this, i'm totally pleased with the housekeeping daily, they made me feel i'm came bk hm each day i returned to hotel after a long trip outside.. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
