We moved to this hotel after four days at the Disneyland hotel, and were very impressed. Firstly they were able to give us an adjoining room for our kids, the staff were very friendly and the room decor was excellent - very stylish. Location is awesome for getting around - just a few minutes' walk to the ferry piers, tons of shopping and tourist points, and the staff were very helpful in helping us find other places, like cheap, authentic local restaurants nearby. The only downside is that although it's close to the harbor there is a big building in between the Langham and the harbour, so the views aren't great. The location of the hotel was very convenient. It's close to the promenade and the Harbour Center and the Canton Road shopping area. It's also close enough to the Tsim Shat Tsui MTR. The hotel was very nice and all the staff were wonderful but, I was traveling with two elderly ladies and we were placed on the top floor. The elevator did not go to the top floor so we had to take the stairs. We asked to change this but they couldn't change our rooms. We were slightly shocked when we first arrived as this was not the hotel we thought it was as we have been to Honk Kong many times before. However we were there and it was only 1 night. On arrival we were swiftly shown to our Suite, which looked rather tired and in need of refurbishment. As it happened we did not feel so good so eat at the hotel restaurant, which also provided good friendly service, even when there was a slight problem, they gave us a few drink each and 20% discount – I was impressed with that, as many other hotels we have stayed in would have done nothing.
