The Thon Hotel EU was a lovely hotel in great condition, within easy walking distance of the center of Brussels. We loved the comfort of the beds, the central, open courtyard and the very helpful receptionist. On the downside the safe in the room didn't work and the shower pressure was very poor. The night I arrived, there happened to be parked tractors right outside the hotel, for a demonstration for the rights of farmers. Being a foreigner, I had no idea what to expect from this, and after coming to my room, they started honking. There was no way I could prepare for my meeting with the noise outside. I was worried, will they wake me up at […] night, when will they start in the morning, what to expect? And the next day, it was not possible to take bus or taxi since the street was blocked. I would have expected that when I checked in, the staff would have made me aware of this. A comfortable hotel with good amenities Bar shop etc. The room was well designed and pleasant but even with the air-con on the room was very warm. The staff were helpful and happy to help. A nice find for a stay in Brussels.

Exactly what we were looking for......clean hotel with easy access to central Brussels. Hotel on METRO line (about 10mins from city, 2euro for a return ticket) or a 25mins walk to city centre. Rooms were clean, if you skip having your room cleaned each morning by staff then you get a 5euro voucher for the bar. We didn't have breakfast at hotel, but […] it looked to have a very good selection, breakfast at weekends is half the price of weekday (25euro vs 12.50 at weekends). Internet access in reception or you have 1 hour wifi in your room. Located in EU quarter so not many restaurants nearby, best to go into city center. Staff at reception are polite and efficient. Gym in hotel has basic cardio equipment. We were a couple staying there, did not see any families, mainly business travelers as hotel is in the EU quarter. Due to its location it is cheaper at weekends. Overall a really nice clean hotel which is great value for money at weekends. If you are staying here, it is a good idea to request a room not beside the roadside as it could be noisy. Read more

Used this hotel when visiting parliament. Only 5-10 mins away. Staff at hotel very helpful ,room spacious. Only 1 hour free wifi but we had no problems getting onto a computer in lobby where wifi is fre at anytime. Breakfast is 25 euro and we didn't think this was good value. I only stayed at the Thon Hotel EU for a night. The overall experience was very good, the staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel itself is very nice, the colors are vibrant. Location is especially good for those who have to be around the EU quarter which was very convenient for me and probably the reason I chose this particular hotel). What could be better in my opinion: there were two very narrow duvets on a double bed, I had to either use both of them horizontally, or if Iused just one then it was difficult to turn in bed without becoming uncovered; the windows were not soundproof, which seems largely to be a norm these days in hotels located near busy roads (which it is), the flooring was uncomfortable, not a carpet nor hardwood, like plastic (I couldn't really understand the material) it somehow made me feel like I had blisters under my feet. These were negative aspects for me. But overall it is a good hotel for a short stay (probably more suited for business travelers). Read more

Mycket nöjd med hotellstandarden och personalens service. Synd att inte WiFi ingår och konstigt att hotellet reserverar 25€ per natt, och att det tog en vecka efter utcheckning innan pengarna var tillbaka på kontot. (6 nätter =150€, dvs halva reskassan). Tycker även att det var ett dåligt utbud av restauranger i området kring hotellet.

Greit hotell som ligger i behagelig avstand til EU kontorer. Flybussen stopper 400 m eller noe fra hotellet - og passerer det på vei til holdeplassen. Det gjør det lett å finne veien til hotellet. Greie rom, men mye trafikkstøy for rom som vender ut mot hovedgaten. Bra restaurant/bar, med enkel servering.

If you are going to attend an EU-meeting in Brussels, you can probably not sleep any closer. This area is dead in the evening, not even possible to find an open kiosk . The hotel is just across the street from a subway station, and you can be in the restaurant area (Grand Place) in ten minutes. The hotel is modern decorated in fresh colours. Υπέροχο ξενοδοχείο κ πολύ ευγενικό προσωπικό.Μοντέρνα διακόσμηση κ πρόσφατα πλήρως ανακαινισμένο σαν καινούργιο με αυτοματισμούς, pc κλπ. Το wifi δεν ήταν δωρέαν αλλά μόνο αυτό και το πανάκριβο πρωινό είναι αρνητικά.

L'hotel è confortevole, ben collegato con i mezzi pubblici (la fermata della metro è praticamente all'uscita dell'hotel) , pulito, con personale disponibile. L'unico neo , non da poco ma facilmente superabile, è il costo della colazione che è di 25 euro a persona dal lunedì al venerdì e di 12,50 sabato e domenica. I 25 euro sono veramente eccessivi […] ( e sotto sotto te lo fanno capire anche gli addetti alla reception) . Fortunatamente non è obbligatorio prendere il pacchetto pernottamento e colazione e Bruxelles è piena di locali dove è possibile fare colazione con molto meno. Hotellet har bra standard, rent, moderne og ryddig. Frokosten inneholdt alt du måtte ønske deg, så selv om den var dyr, så absolutt verd å ta med seg. Ca. 20 min. å gå til Grand Place, men for dem som ikke ønsker å gå, så ligger Metroen bare ett steinkast unna.

Når man har købt og betalt sit værelse over nettet, er det dårligt at man skal betale "citytax " ved udcheckning. Sammenligningsgrundlaget med andre hotellers pris bliver derfor skæv. På 2. sal virker det somom at der er en mulæighed for at nogen kan gå udenfor vinduet .

Nice new modern fresh hotel. Beds are a bit hard. Window from shower to room is great. The neigbourhood seems boring. The Wet/ rue de la loi isn't nice at all but quite close there is a nice pond (Maria louiza square) for example.

J'ai passé une nuit magnifique dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est très accueillant, souriant et serviable. L'hôtel est neuf et est très bien entretenu. Les chambres sont bien équipées. Très bon accueil mais tout de même quelques points négatifs: quand on prend une douche c'est toute la salle de bains qui risque l'inondation, le rideau isolant la chambre de la salle d'eau était bloqué, certaines taxes supplémentaires non prévues au départ sont rajoutées au moment du check out.

Uusi erinomainen hotelli, jonka välittömässä ympäristössä ei ole paljon nähtävää. Metroasema tosin on aivan hotellin vieressä. Kun ilma oli erittäin sateinen ja ympäristössä ei ollut ravintoloita, alkoi hotellin ruokalista jo kyllästyttää. Vaikka ruoka tosin oli hyvää, niin vaihtelu on aina paikallaan.
