I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The location was excellent- and my room was quiet. The room was very nice, clean, and modern with everything I could have needed EXCEPT a couple of English language TV channels. My associate had a Double room and his had more channels including BBC. clean and comfortable hotel. We prepare our own breakfast every morning as it is expensive to have it outside. We prefer to spend more on our dinner^^ Lucky we don't have big problem during stay (just found leakage for shower so we used tub) so no emergency call is needed. The location is excellence. "Easy and comfortable....."
The hotel is as close to Grand Place as possible. I got the code to enter 2 days before my arrival and it was easy to get in. For a hotel in the midle of town the noise was very acceptable and died out well before midnight. I could wish for the option to buy a few more coffee capsules, as I dont have any use for a whole package.I once tried to get on-line, […] but after 3-4 minutes I hadn´t even got the acces page, it was too slow to work at all. "Hotel fast ohne Personal"
Das Hotel hat so gut wie keinen Empfang: nur einen Tisch im Eingangsbereich, ohne Leute. Gott sei Dank habe ich angerufen und gesagt, dass ich voraussichtlich spät eingecheckt hätte. Man bekommt dann eine Kennzahl für die Eingangstür und eine für ein Tresor, wo sich die Schlüsselkarte und andere Unterlagen befinden. Die Kennzahlen bekommt man aber nicht […] von Hotels.com, sondern nur, wenn man direkt bucht oder anruft. Die Ausstattung ist gut: das Zimmer hat einen großen Couch mit Couchtisch, Schreibtisch, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und Kaffemaschine mit Kaffee und Tee, Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett und das Badezimmer hat Badewanne und Dusche getrennt, sehr praktisch. Das Bett ist ziemlich bequem und die Fenster waren Richtung Hinterhof und daher sehr ruhig und leise. "Nice room, but very impersonal."
The room and location of the hotel are good, but because there is no reception it seems like you're staying a ghost-hotel. I had to help four people on separate occasions who didn't phone the hotel in advance to get check-in instructions. The bed was hard. Wi-Fi access has to be payed for.
