Hotel in great location... Short short walking distance to acropolis, plaka, metro, and flea market.... Short walk to hadrians arch and most of the tourist spot in Athens! Buffet bfast for ppl on the go Great great and acommodating staff!! Fast and most importantly, FREE wifi both in the lobby and in the rooms!!! This hotel is ideally situated for walking in the Plaka, to the Acropolis and surrounding archeological sites, and to the New Acropolis Museum. It's a great location. The staff was also efficient, friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights, then picked up a car at Avis - right around the corner - for 3 nights in the country and returned to the hotel […] for our final night. We were able to leave luggage at the hotel during our absence for a very, very minimal fee. This was a great help since 4 adults were traveling with luggage. Very close to metro station, Acropolis, Plaka shopping and everything of tourist interest. Desk staff was very helpful and gave us good tips on restaurants, places to go out, transportation etc.

Great location, right below the Acropolis. However, when booking the hotel, the condition is VERY misleading. We didn't get to check out any other hotels in Athens, but I felt that 4 stars for this hotels is DRASTICALLY overated. This is more like a 2.5 star hotel. Terribly small, old and noisy. I would say this hotel has good receptionists. They are helpful. Location of hotel near acropolis is also good. Their free breakfast was also good. We stayed in a single room which has two attached twin beds together. Flooring of the room is Tarp and overall room is very small. Water in shower would get hot and cold. In terms of free internet in rooms, […] it was really hard to get good signal. Our bed leg was also broken. After few times mentioning hotel deciced to give us another room which had 3 twin beds. It is basically a single room with 3 bed squeezed in it. At nights we could hear dogs barking. Overall I would not consider this hotel as 4 star by any means. From check-in to departure ALL the staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. In an excellent location, close to the Acroplois (5 minutes walk), just a step around the courney from Acropolis station (60 minutes from the airport) and 2 minutes to a good selection of cafes, bars and restaurants. Will definately stay here again.

The Parthenon Hotel was located within walking distances to all the most see things. This included the Acropolis, Plaka and resturant district, Syntagma Square, Monateraki. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff are wonderful, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good for the continent, including hot food. The location is perfect for the archaelogical sites, within easy walking distance of the Akropolis and plenty of restaurants. Plus free wifi Internet in rooms!

Vi bodde to netter på hotellet i midten av september, og vi var godt fornøyd. Rommet vårt var stort, fredelig og med stor balkong. Frokosten var god, men det jeg særlig vil trekke frem, er betjeningen. De var usedvanlig hyggelige og imøtekommende. Vi hadde avreise på ettermiddagen og hadde sjekket ut, men da jeg spurte om et sted hvor vi kunne skifte […] til reiseklær, ga de meg nøkkel til et rom som vi kunne disponere den tiden.
