Near Syntagma Square, home to the Greek Parliament, Athens’ most expensive residential quarter is the domain of wealthy Greeks and foreign embassy staff. Glamorous socialites frequent the fashionable bar-restaurants, chic boutiques and designer stores. A funicular serves the pine-clad slopes of Mount Lycabettus, and several of Athens’ top museums are within walking distance.

This is one of those hotels that looks great in the lobby. I had to move rooms because the first room I got smelled like an ashtray. They were very fast, and moved me right away. The TV did not work. The room smelled musty. Those things didn't bother me.... as much as the two (yes, TWO) times that the showerhead fell on me while I was showering. The […] first time, I thought maybe it slipped and it was an accident. It hit me in the middle of my shower, right on top of my head. I didn't bother to tell the staff about it because I thought maybe it was a one-time thing. But, the next morning, the same thing happened. The toilet would not flush very well- you had to pump the handle to make it work. The food was mediocre, overpriced - except for breakfast. The view in the breakfast room is indeed wonderful, and the food is good. Not great, but definitely good. I will say, that when I complained to the manager in the morning, he was apologetic and very nice. He asked what he could do to make it up to me. But I also didn't care much since I was checking out. The staff was very good - polite, concerned, and asked how they could help. The room was immaculate and the cleaning staff did a great job. But overall, I would definitely not stay here again. Paying too much for internet, suffering through the bathroom annoyances - sadly not worth it just for nice staff and a good breakfast. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"no surprises"
As long as one doesn't mind walking up Lycabetus hill, this hotel is very conveniently located in the center of the city. Try to get the more expensive front facing rooms for great acropolis views.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Nice facilities/location, noisy and uncomfortable"
- nice facilities and location - nice restaurant and views over Acropolis - very firm and uncomfortable bed - very noisy: exterior (cars plus road works) and interior (you could hear the music/chats, shouts, shower from 2-3 rooms across)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very good value boutique hotel"
Very pleasant room and comfortable beds. Roof top bar and restaurant with a great view of Athens and the Acropolis. In thecentre of Athens but a bit of a climb up to the hotel if you are walking.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Vue incroyable mais problème d'insonorisation"
Vue incroyable sur l'Acropole au dernier étage mais chambres très mal insonorisées. Le service s'est également détérioréGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Dags för en allmän uppfräschning men oslagbart läge i vackra och jämförelsevis lugna Kolonaki, vänlig personal, fantastisk utsikt och en underbar takpool.....Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Breathtaking view"
When I travel to Athens I always choose this hotel because of the magnificent view. Hotel staff is most helpful, also upon request to change rooms. Fitness and wellness in the groundfloor is great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
