We stayed here while visiting family, so for us it was just a place to sleep. However it was very nice. Convenient for the M62 so would suit business... travellers. There were several parties going on during our stay but we couldn't hear any noise. No elevator to 2nd floor which may be a problem for people with limited mobiity, so request a ground floor room. by Angela from Massachusetts on 01/08/13

It was suitable for our one night stop over in Brighouse area in a quite location to have a rest, and meet up with rest of the family at one point after along journey from south of England for a famlly event in Brighouse Town.

Excellent hotel, beds were SO comfy !!! the pool and jacuzzi were a little shallow though... but overall had a great stay... the Black Horse Pub just up the road was also a must !!! the food was amazing !!

This hotel is a decent quality functional hotel. Service was very good and room was clean and comfortable. However, it took 30 mins longer than it should have to find it as Sat Nav took us through a small village and then got us lost! We asked directions and in reality the hotel was right next to the motorway and could not have been easier to find!

The hotel room we had was old and tired. The TV only had 5 anaolgue channels plus one sky channel - no freeview or digital. We had a cup of tea (2 people and a biscuit each) in the lounge and they wacked on a 10% service charge and it cost £8.50! On arrival I had to give my address again as they had my name listed against a different address, and on […] departure we were asked to pay for the room despite having paid in full in advance at the time of the booking. We thought we'd booked a room with breakfast, the hotel said breakfast would be £9.50 each extra or £13.50 each if we just turned up for it the following day. How do they justify the prices? The staff were completely unconcerned about asking us to pay again and didn't even apologise. Awful place although Brighouse is great. The previous night we stayed in a Holiday Inn Express which had newer furnishings, was cheaper and included free breakfast. Read more

The help yourself buffet breakfast could improve a lot especially the HOT food. It was lukewarm at most and the black pudding was solid.
