stayed here on thursday 7th march and friday 8th march m y disabled wife and i were in room 148, and my 87 year old mum and sister were in room 147 both nights had near zero temperatures outside . room radiators were not on in both rooms. i asked at reception to rectify thist, the staff member proceeded to program heat for both rooms .the heaintg [ […] radiators] stayed cold , going back to reception the staff member after more programing said that air con should work on the heat setting . this blew a small amount of warm air at ceiling height..disappointed . "Good value, clean, basic, in need of a good spruce"
Staff keep remarkably hotel clean given that the decor is decidedly "tired"...severe water damage from floor above in the peeling ceiling, and things like curtains and carpet need replacing.
