Was not advised that the doors would be locked until 6pm so had to ring to be let in. Very noisy from the bar until 12 midnight. Ideally situated for all of BirchingtonGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"canterbury cathedral"
we went just for a couple of nights, the place was easy to find but free parking is slightly hard to find. the owners were really helpful and lovely. the room was big with a very comfortable bed and lots of storage room. however the the shower was a bit to be desired. the pub is about 30 mins away from canterbury so if you wanted somewhere to go for […] dinner try broadstairs as it is only 10mins down the road and has several restuarants, the best one was called possilipo, a family run italian, all fresh and very good value for money. after dinner we went back to the pub for a drink where we chatted to the locals who were really nice and played darts and pool. overall a lovely little get away:-) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
