We have included all charges provided to us by this hotel. However, charges can vary, for example, based on length of stay or the room you book.
"Party going on until 3.00am"
Above our room there was a party going on with loud music and talking until at least 3.00am. We phoned reception to complain at around 2.00 am and somebody did seem to go and ask them to be quiet (although there was no feedback to say this had happened). One of the staff MUST have heard the noise but waited for our complaint. Really not acceptable for […] a hotel where many guests need to depart particularly early. "Holiday Inn Express Ramsgate - Minster"
We stayed in this hotel from Friday 23rd - Monday 26th September. We were extremely disappointed with our stay. We chose this place because it seemed good value for money compared to other hotels. But the next time we will be paying that bit extra to stay somewhere else as the breakfast was appalling here the hot breakfast consisted of only sausages […] and dried up scrambled egg. The one evening meal we had in the hotel wasnt much better. Staff were quite rude and didnt seem to keen to help. Our room was dirty there was chewing gum stuck under the tv table cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and the bed covers were all ripped down the side. In my opinion this is just not good enough for guests!! We made one phone call which lasted for 9 minutes and got charged £55. I understand we had to pay this charge but on the first night we asked the guy behind the bar about using the phone and he never warned us that it would be so expensive until we were checking out a lady on reception told us she would advise people not to use the phone - a bit late then!! Also we used the kettle in the room to make tea which tasted funny, when I looked at the kettle it was all black inside which was disgusting. Overall we were not happy with our stay and we were delighted to check out we would not recoment this hotel to anyone. I know I wont get so much as a response from the hotel as we filled out a comments card and left my e mail and it was probably just thrown straight into the bin.
