Booked a room with a Queensize bed. I was given a room with a double bed when I complained I was told this was what the hotel class as a Queensize. Was very disappointed as this was for my wedding anniversary and if I had known that It wasn't a Queensize bed I wouldn't have booked it here. "Classic hotel in lovely Montpellier area"
A high quality hotel in the lovely Montpellier area, surrounded by high end shops and restaurants. Just a short walk to the town center the hotel is conveniently located and well presented with friendly staff. We were there for the Literature festival and therefore, location-wise, it is perfect - right in the middle of town. 5 min from the high street, from all the restaurants etc and a 2 min cab ride from the railway station. "Great service in an olde world hotel"
Great location and really nice staff. The bedroom was nice and the bed was like a great big swallow you up pillow...(great nights kip). The property itself is really nice but in need of a little bit more love and attention. We didn't eat in the hotel as there are some great places really nearby (the Dafodil was wonderful!). Being told that they already know about faulty air conditioning, when it is reported, is not reassuring, particularly when they say that each unit works four rooms, and it is just pot luck which room is defective on which day.
