we booked the deluxe room and were given the small, almost windowless standard room. there was no apology and no valid explanation.

Puts more expensive hotels to shame. Spotless, comfortable room with an iron and trouser press. Excellent shower bath, shaving kit and toothbrush available if needed. Wifi was not free but this was about to change. Quiet at night (it was a sunday but the pub closes at 11pm) looking over a common (green space). 5 minute walk to several restaurants and […] pubs but the menu looked good - nothing fancy but apparently the place sellls out at weekends. Our room was above the toilets of the main bar. When the bar got busy andthe toilets were used the door slamed, this could be felt and heard all the time it was in use. The room was not particularly clean and the bed was not comfortable.

Even though we arrived in the middle of a Beer Festival they still found time to sort us and our room out in a very friendly way. We had a very good room with a very large bathroom and despite the festival it was quiet. It is situated opposite Chislehurst Common so an attractive location. We had a couple of drinks in the bar where despite being busy […] we were served very quickly and in a very friendly manner. The following morning we arrived for breakfast late as we had forgotten to put our clock forward but we were served cheerfully and the Full English was cooked while we waited. We would certainly go back and would recommend this to anyone who prefers the atmosphere of a pub rather than a bland hotel. The people who run this are obviously very experienced in looking after people properly. We did not try the large restaurant but hope to go back and do this another time. Read more

We only stayed for 1 night but would have happily stayed the week. The place was truly without fault the staff were just so friendly and accomodating and a freshly cooked breakfast was superb. We are trying to figure out a reason to go back. Definitely 10 out of 10 Thank you

Für eine Stadtbesichtigung sehr geeignet, bis nach Charing Cross 20 min. vom Bahnhof Chislehurts aus. Vom Hotel zum Bahnhof jedoch ca. 1,8 km. In sehr ruhiger Lage liegt das stilvolle, typische Inn.
