"Adequate, ideal location for my visit"
Upon arrival there is a large car park at rear of pub and separate accomodation block. Reception is in the bar area. Completed check in paperwork without fuss went to room, clean but a slightly stark, TV was a bit small. Retrurned to bar and restaurant (Food serving closes at nine.) Ordered a very dark looking bowl of stew and was pleasantly suprised […] at how tasty it was. The staff were very pleasant and efficient. Breakfast in the morning was decent and overall my stay at the hotel was a good experience. I would say for the price I paid my stay at the hotel was value for money. The food was good and the hotel was clean and quiet, There was nothing about it that was charming, and there was also nothing about it that is a major dissappointment, hence the "adequate" review. "Little gem"
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The hotel is next to a pub which is owned by the hotel. The pub is what you would expect from a local neighbourhood pub however they serve fantastic food. 5 minutes from Winnersh station, IQ area, Reading, serves good food, nice little hotel bar with local people. Free WiFi, full English and cheap prices.
