Overall the hotel is pleasant but in the bedroom one side of the bed is far too close to the wall and very inconvenient. The air conditioning unit was very noisy. Having the toilet seperate to the bathroom seems unhygenic as guests touch door handles and light switches before being able to wash their hands. Good, clean hotel with great facilities at an excellent cost. Kids eat free breakfast was realy useful. Swimming pool with steam room and sauna was good size and clean and tidy. We had stayed at this hotel some 3 years ago and our experience was not a favourable one.Our first impression was marred by a group of youths smoking at the entrance and one of the group 'mooning' on our arrival.This caused some awkward questioning from our young children ! Following this our room was not ready and we had to hang about in the lobby […] for nearly an hour.Tired and stained bedding and overall a tired and shoddy appearance left us feeling disappointed.However times change and a very good online price tempted us to stay once again as we were attending an event at Silverstone.The hotel appeared to have had a refurb and felt clean and welcoming and check -in was hassle free from the very nice receptionist .The room was clean and all we had to do was pull the the sofa beds out for the 2 boys.About the only negative i can think of was a strange knocking noise in our room from about 5am which lasted for about 2 hours and then just went off ! Room was simple, clean and comfortable. Swimming pool was good, a constant 1.2m depth as I remember. Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
