"Soaking review"
We arrived in VERY LATE at approximately 0300 for a flight that we had at 0900 and we just wanted a few hours sleep. Check in was easy. Went up to our room and my husband noted it was "muggy". Didn't think anything of it. Until I stepped beside the bed and realized that the entire floor/carpet was soaked with water. "Low for a Hilton badge"
This hotel was OK but definitely a low grade Hilton product. The room was clean and neat but the beds were like boards, and no sheets, only a comforter (normal per Euro style). Hilton Hotel i Edinburgh ligger dejligt tæt på lufthavnen, og tæt på Arnold Clark biludlejning, som gratis fragter dig tilbage til hotellet efter returnering af leje-bilen. Hotel Hilton har 24 timers service med gratis shuttle bus til lufthavnen, så man kan nemt nå sin flyver til tiden. Vi fik velsmagende middag i restaurationen, men servicen var ringe […] med uopmærksomme tjenere, så desserten måtte vi undvære. Rengøringen på værelset var meget overfladisk, og gulvet beskidt. Incheckning var ok. När vi just checkat in gick brandlarmet så hela hotellet utrymdes. Efter ca. 1 timme kunde vi komma till våra rum.
