Our room was dated, cheaply put together and simply uncomfortable. The bed stands had patches of vinyl mising (you could see cork), bathroom was dated and basic. Vending machines on all floors were "temporarily out of service" which made me use the expensive onsits bar. No free in-room wifi (GBP 14.99) which I thought was tight for a GBP 140 room. "Not recommended"
No heating in the room we were given; no politeness or apology from the particularly unfriendly evening receptionist either--she kept us waiting for 15 minutes, walking up and down the hallway with our luggage, before giving us a room equipped with heating. "EDI Airport Hilton-Terrible in all ways"
Room was terrible-dirty, AC didn't work, bathroom smelled of mildew. Only furniture was a ratty chair, with holes in fabric and stains all over it. We requested a wakeup call, were told they don't do them (at an airport hotel), could not get coffee at 730 am anywhere in the hotel, and paid top dollar for this. Do not stay here. "Terrible, out of date and noisy"
Very very disappointed by this hotel. The room was not up to normal Hilton standards, it was old and the bed was so uncomfortable (i think some of the springs were broken). The room was also very very noisy as every few minutes a door down the hallway would slam shut (is it that hard to get those metal arms that stop this???).
